List of Summit Medical Group's Reviews
As someone who needs monthly visits I cannot recommend this practice enough. My primary care doc is the best I’ve ever had, she’s incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and I’ve seen some other providers here as well and never once had a negative experience. I always know they’ll listen to me and believe me, take time to understand my concerns, and really work to find the best treatment plan possible. The office moves quick, the support staff are so sweet, friendly, and ready to help. I’ve had more than my share of bad care in the past and am thrilled to have found Summit.
We are pleased with the care we have received from Summit Medical Group, both Northshore and Deane Hill offices, and have had no problem getting an appointment.
The Chik Fil A of medicine. Not the best, worst, but very popular, with a smooth operation. I've been through 3 DRs and several PAs.Not the most attentive Drs but ok if you need a quick visit for non serious things.Seek elsewhere if you need a real Dr who gets to know the patient.
Very professional staff, a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, and Dr. Chesney, my primary care provider is great.
Have been to multiple Summit Medical Group offices and never had any issues. Staff is always polite and willing to help. Large waiting room with TVs, coffee, and water bottles.
I love this practice and specifically see Dr. Emily Edwards. The facilities are very nice, I have no trouble getting appointments, they do a lot of labs on site (which saves $$$ and time), the nurses are caring and responsive, and they actually answer and respond to questions quickly both via phone and the patient portal. Dr. Edwards is fabulous, she cares and takes the time to listen to everything you have to say. If she doesn't have an answer, she has no problem referring to a specialist and working closely with that specialist to figure out your issue. I definitely recommend coming here!
Good folks
Worst doctors I have ever encountered. They do not listen to symptoms presented by the patient. Apparently they have a set of numbers that they think everyone fits in. Not every person fits into their scale for diagnosing illnesses. People are individuals and what may be normal for one person is not necessarily normal for another. These doctors do not listen to the patient. They simply quote the scale that they have been given and never consider that they need to pay attention to what the patient is telling them . They treat their patients like they are stupid but in reality they are the stupid ones. They act as though it is an imposition to actually have to discuss what is going on with the patient . They need to take a class in empathy and realize that they are not superior to their patients. It’s a shame that they are in the medical field where people who need help have to be treated by doctors like this. I’m to the point that it would be easier to just go on suffering until I die rather than have to be rested do miserably by these doctors . I hope there is a special place in hell reserved just for them.
Everyone is friendly and helpful
The single WOST place to work in Knoxville.SSS which provides “service and support” to the “client” Summit Medical Group are always bickering and backering.VERY hostile workplace. Limited staff with unreasonable expectations. Management is amateur and do nothing by fly by the seat of their pants.Warning! Do not go to work here!Do not use Summit Medical Group! They have a revolving door of NP’s that see you and simply advise you to take OTC’s then take your money.Completely disfunctional internally.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
