List of Susan E Freeberg's Reviews
Incredibly knowledgeable physician. Dr. Freeberg is so personable and caring. I feel very lucky to have found her.
I am accidentally posting on my husband’s account but speaking from my personal experience - Dr. Freeberg is wonderful. I have been seeing her since I was 20 years old for my moles and skin concerns, and my parents and many family friends have also gone to her for several years now. She always takes the time to listen to me, is very caring and patient, and is always warm and friendly. She is thorough and has always made me feel extremely comfortable and well taken care of. I don’t usually write Google reviews but after seeing these negative reviews, I was upset. I highly recommend Dr. Freeberg and will continue to go to her.
This office is awful.. I wouldn’t go back. They do not do anything for you. Writing prescriptions must be very hard work. Dr Freeberg was very uncaring, spent 2 minutes with us, after waiting… waste of time. They want to get you keep coming back to milk your money.
I shared a critical itching problem I have with dr freeberg that I’ve suffered with for 30 years. I’ve had all the appropriate tests to determine the cause; it’s a histamine skin problem. I have taken predizone for years which worked miraculously until just recently it stopped working. I explained to her how serious this problem is and that I cannot let the itching get started or out of control or I’d have to get to an emergency center as it’s an insane, intolerable problem! I was not asked to undress for an examination, she never once touched me. She quickly told me there’s no other medicine available and suggested I see a psychiatrist because my problem might be psychosomatic! She said it might all be in my head!! I was incensed and replied,”I’ve being seeing dermatologist for this and been treated for this for 30 years!” She shrugged and walked out! I was livid and left totally depressed. I felt insulted and as though I’d just met a very poor, useless, insensitive woman! Directly after this experience I went to see Dr Sophie Hendricks who I knew was a brilliant dermatologist. I had to undress and she thoroughly inspected my skin with an instrument I didn’t recognize. She sympathized with me and wrote a prescription for me(that works!) and told me about two itching specialist at Mayo Clinic!! I was there 45 minutes and treated so kindly and professionally! What an incredible difference like night and day! I told my husband about all this. He’s a physician and he said he’d NEVER send anyone to dr freeberg! The appointment with her was completely worthless and a waste of $40. I’m going to write a letter of complaint to the director of her practice in hopes no one else will waste their time!!
While my interaction with the front desk staff was exceptional, my experience with Dr. Freeberg was the most I have ever felt uncomfortable in a doctors office. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, Melanoma is the second most common form of cancer in females age 15-29. Knowing that and knowing multiple people who have Melanoma, at 29 I went to get a general check. Dr. Freeberg was so demeaning and essentially told me she didn't know why I came in if I was not over the age of 50 or had specific spots I knew were growing. She did a very quick scan of my skin and then just stared at me asking if I needed anything else. I have never had this type of an interaction with a doctor and absolutely just wasted my money on a copay.
I had her check out a cyst that had gotten infected. She spent the entire time across the room and didn't really check it out. I asked for specific information on exactly the type it was, etc. I didn't receive an answer. I will never go back.
I would highly recommend Dr. Freeberg. I had severe acne for years, and now my face is totally clear in less than 6 months!
I picked out this dr based on reviews, they were great a year and a half ago. So much for that. It was a waste of $120. As others said she did not solve my problem. Just gave me risecia cream for the red bumps on my face, which did not help of course. However it got cured on accident later on when I got a sinus infection and got treated with antibiotics, so my bumps were some kind of bacteria. I now need another dermatologist advice definitely not going back there!
I have been a patient of Dr. Freebergs for over five years. She and her assistants from the nurse to the office staff have been amazing. Great service, on time, very kind and respectful. Dr. Freeburg is a very skilled practitioner and a good communicator. I have never felt rushed by her staff.I highly recommend her to my family and friends.
Knowledgeable, Well versed in Dermatology, Takes time with her patients, According to her Bio finished first in her medical class, Friendly personable staff, Office is very convenient to get to regardless of what direction you are coming from. Greatt Dr really knows her "stuff"

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
