List of Tennessee Cancer Care Specialists Of Knoxville's Reviews
I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in Feb. 2025 at 46 years old. My surgeon referred me to Dr. Richard T. Lee at Tennessee Cancer Specialists, and I'm so glad he did! Dr. Lee made me feel comfortable from the very first visit. Answered all my questions and really put me at ease. The entire staff at TN Cancer Specialists is amazing, too - their Nurse Navigator Martha did a great job of explaining the side effects and risks of the chemotherapy, and all of my nurses in the infusion lab took great care of me, especially Michelle, Katie, and Paige. All these folks are wonderful people to have on your side at a time like this! The best part, though, was the fact that we achieved a complete pathological response at the time of surgery - meaning that the chemo Dr. Lee gave me killed all the cancer and it was dead when I had my lumpectomy! I cannot recommend Dr. Lee and Tennessee Cancer Specialists enough. 5 stars!!!
Great doctors
Dr.Richard Lee is taking wonderful care of Sherry, he is check her very thoroughly and trying to find out why her white count it keeps elevating. We have been very blessed he is working so hard to find what is going on. Thank you so much Dr. Lee💖
While I truly hope you never need their services, if you do, this is a great choice for your oncology needs. They've been there every step with us, coordinating appointments, coming to the hospital when my family member was admitted, and they are super quick to call you back if there's ever an issue. They are all so kind, and we've appreciated that. This is a tough time in a person's life, that not only affects them, but their family as well, and Dr. Dobbs and his team made sure we were comfortable and understood everything that was happening. They answered all our questions, and even called in meds over the weekend for us, when it was needed. This whole thing sucks, but it's easier to navigate when you have a great team, and they certainly qualify as great in our eyes.
Outstanding team I have been seeing for a couple years. From Dr. Eapen, the physician assistants (Tiffany and James) and EJ the MA and all the nurses in the treatment area are superb. I am so thankful for all they do to help with my cancer. I really don’t know if I would be alive without this team. Lastly I would like to recognize Martha who is a highly motivational social worker that helps you navigate your way. I would highly recommend Tennessee Cancer Care Specialists to anyone with blood cancers. There are teams there for other cancers. I just have a form of blood cancer and know first hand how outstanding this place is.
Dr Schumaker is the best around….staff always nice n courteous
Chemo nurse's are awesome Always kind and compassionate. God sent his angels here to brighten our day
The staff who work here are racist and homophobic. Here is a screenshot from a message I received from one of their employees today. I will never recommend this as a place for those wanting cancer treatment. Edit: Added a new photo as the woman changed her profile name.
My friend is going through chemo here they couldn't be more helpful and kind parking is plentiful and there's an awning so you can park and keep patient dry in bad weather
Very compassionate staff...will.not rush you through.Answered all my questions. Assigned a nurse to walk beside us thru cancer diagnosis..chemo etc. Dr Schumaker is the best...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
