In my experience with Dr. Hodges she did not listen to my chief complaint the last three times I saw her. She was more concerned that my immunizations were up to date (each visit) and that I was incorporating exercise and an appropriate caloric daily diet.

Dr. Hodges is one of the most genuinely compassionate and caring physicians by whom I've ever been treated. She's a keen listener and patiently answers all questions. I've never felt rushed by her, and always trust in her medical training and experience to provide an accurate diagnosis and the best recommended treatment. I would recommend to anyone in search of a great internist or family physician in Knoxville, and especially to women who might prefer a female physician.

Both my wife and I recently switched to Dr. Hodges for management of our health care, and we are very pleased. She is an excellent, very caring physician and is very involved in our overall care, making sure that we see specialists as appropriate. Both of us are older and have many health issues, so management of care is very important to us.

This Dr. is the best I've known in 66 years. She is kind, professional, has a sense of humor, and an excellent diagnostician. She should be nominated for the Noble Prizein Medicine!!!! Her staff is superb as well.
