The one star is because the staff is friendly. However, do not expect any privacy in the infusion center. Everyone present will hear your name and date of birth and why you are there and any sideeffects or problems you are having the entire time you are there. In this day of cameras, there is no need for open bays. There is zero patient privacy and your treatment is compartmentalized. I would forego treatment rather than receive it here.
Receptionist are very nice and friendly, but several of the nurses are extremely rude! They may need more training on compassion, and stop being so mean and rude to family and patients on the worst days of their life
I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars! Waited 2 hours and 38 minutes and STILL two people in front of me!? I am furious that Dr. Walid Hanna can have such EGREGIOUS time management skills and waste the time of patients repeatedly!! A most horrible experience!! NEVER NEVER NEVER use this practice
Great had bladder cancer the late Dr Walters save my life Breast cancer unrelated, recovered excellent my follow up has been great. We are very fortunate to have this medical fivality in Knoxville area.
I'm from Kingsport Tn and was sent to UT Medical Cancer Center by Kingsport Dermatologist Dr. Casey Watkins. I was diagnosed with stage three melanoma cancer with an extremely fast growth rate. Dr. Michael Lewis was my surgeon and after surgery my arm and lymph nodes are clear of all melanoma cancer. He and all of his friendly & professional team saved me from dying of melanoma cancer. I think them from the bottom of my heart. I must say that the trips to Knoxville were all worth it. A special thanks to NP Andrew Ward! ❤
Always caring and loving. I wouldn’t be be here still if it wasn’t for all of them.
My Dad had a stroke, has a blood clot in his Carotid Artery and is up on the 4th floor of the Heart n Cardiac unit and his nurse was a guy named Josh who is OUTSTANDING! Everyone has been amazing EXCEPT the two ladies sitting at the labor n delivery door screaming at families trying to see their families.
The parking situation here is unfathomable! No matter how sick you are, you have to walk outside and inside forever. A horrible situation. If you have ♿ parking, forget it. You won't find a space unless you get there at 7AM for a 10AM appointment. The parking fees are ridiculous! The care here is basically very good. As long as you are okay with being a number. .
DANGER! Dr Boone and his staff put RFID chips in me without my permission during a fake surgery! V2K technology done on me by satanic Boone! He is a lying satanist! Look up V2K and torture for facts. Do not go to him. Danger for senior citizens because they will try to kill you with V2K technology. I am a Christian and he put rfid chips in me including my right hand! God sees all and is angry. Do not go to Boone! End times technology against innocent senior citizens. Portal of hell opened by Boone.
I can not begin to thank the UT chemo/lab/doctor Hannah's office/ and everyone in the entire check-in, and out! OUTSTANDING organized UT department, as busy as this place is it runs like a smooth machine. Mom has fought cancer for 7 months, and with this amazing place she won the battle today! She got to ring the bell of freedom! Yay...again outstanding dedicated staff!
Went with mom to UT cancer center today. What a wonderful staff, so organized for such a huge place! She was nervous, I felt it.Everyone was so warm and friendly that we were relaxed. We were welcomed upon entry, temperatures checked, and questions asked. We were admitted by a super nice gal, she told mom her doctor is amazing and very kind. That was great to hear.We were taken back, by so many patients, and felt grateful for such a place to come. Folks all about were friendly, and the stories humbled me.We were taken back to visit doctor Hanna, what an amazing kind man. He answered all our questions, and mom told him she felt secure with his care.So she will start chemo in a few weeks...I will update.
Positive experience! Very personable and knowledgeable! Success story
I love Dr. Mosley he is the best . I have stage 4 Incurable Nonsmall Cell Carcinoma lung and brain cancer . Dr. Mosley had to give me that diagnosis and to explain how the cancer had spread throughout my body. He always walks in with a smile on his face and has the friendliest attitude that I have ever seen from anything medical professional since the late Dr. A. R. Laman. My very first visit with Dr. Mosley I stated that I am not worried that I was going to be alright . My first scan after my Keyyruda treatments From. Mosley seemed genuinely surprised by the 35 percent shrinkage in my lung tumor. After he conveyed the news I simply said I told you. He smiled and said yes you did. With everyday that passes I do sometimes get anxiety attacks for in the back of my mind there's always that horrid thought that I could have 2 days up to 2 years to live. I would have thought when Dr. Mosley gave me his medical opinion of my best chances or I should say my only chance that I would have been hysterical. The way Dr. Mosley talked with my husband and I made it so easy for me to accept basicly the death sentence that so many of us suffering from cancer must heat. Thank you Dr. Mosley you are a great man and doctor. May God bless you and give you the strength and knowledge to make more of your patients just as at ease as you have me. You're the greatest.
Always takes hours to get anything done. Sick chemo patients waiting hours in waiting room is unacceptable. My mom needs pain meds and nausea meds often thru her peg tube unable to do this in the waiting room so she suffers for hours every time.
Thank you for having an organized place each person from first to 4th floor are fantastic scans techs are efficient and having the computer set to get started is great Over 5 years I have seen Dr. T. Panella good lab crew Dr. C. Lauro so kind the physicians are fantastic listeners Dr. Clayton Bell is such a good addition for your staff Dr. John Bell is always kind upbeat and teaching someone what a treasure grove of people to represent UTMC
This place is awesome, not only are theses Dr's and Staff brilliant in there knowledge, they have a heart. everyone I have meet or came in contact with, including the Doctors, staff, maintenance, even to the golf cart folks, are amazing. In the world today it's great to know they are people like this about there jobs and community's. I highly recommend this place, I have never been disappointed or for that fact seen or talked to anyone that has!
My mother is receiving wonderful care!! Everyone here is wonderful!
I would recommend nowhere else but here. The doctors and nurses and staff are excellent. Caring, compassionate and nothing but helpful.
My daughter had breast cancer and her treatment all at UT. She is 35 and had stage 2. She’s also handicapped/special needs. From day one to her surgeon then chemo dr, then radiation dr, they all made her feel at ease. But this one nurse made each radiation treatment so special, especially her last one. They had a inside joke about cats and cat woman, so she surprises her and dressed up for her last treatment which my daughter really loved. I’m not sure if they all knew she was special needs (sometimes it’s hard to tell). She also gave her some socks with cats on them. I know God will bless her because we’ve been blessed. Thanks again to all for her successful treatment.
Excellent care and treatment! Could not ask for a more compassionate team!
