List of Urath Suresh's Reviews
Dr Suresh is extremely thorough and looks beyond the basics to understand the detail. I enjoy his office staff and his attention to detail. I would recommend Dr Suresh to anyone needing care.
Am very impressed with Dr. Suresh and his staff, including the support staff! So happy to have him as my nephrologist!
Overtime, one realizes the information and communication from Dr. Suresh's office is not just unproffessional, it is medically dangerous. He has a very lackadaisical attitude about kidney disease progression. Understanding ones disease seems to rest solely on the patient. There is no team feeling or feeling of support or actual support for a new diagnosis. It would be supportive to give a patient information verbally when you are present in the office. Referrals to have procedures done are made with no details given or specific reference materials. Neither printed or digital, were offered. It is impossible to ask questions you don't know you need to ask.
I've been to this doctor twice. He probably hasn't spent five minutes with me total and those two visits. Answer no questions left as soon as possible and kept me waiting for an over an hour both times he might be knowledgeable but if you wanna spend the time with you to find out anything what good does it do?
Very good attitude and manner, will listen and talk to you
Too political - does not appreciate an American "Hell fire & brimstone Preacher". Claims to "go by the numbers": but was turned down for Dialysis treatment even though my Potassium - K - level was above the normal range. And even though I come in for Dialysis treatment due to high K levels, difficulty breathing, and obviously overloaded on fluid - due to being previously turned away for Dialysis, he still makes refusal to admit me to the hospital, even above and beyond the protest of the Emergency Room On Duty Doctor(s). The whole matter is "personal" with Dr. Suresh and that in itself is a violation of the Hypocratic Oath that All Doctors take if they are to be licensed to practice medicine here in the United States. Perhaps Dr. Suresh would be better suited back in his own Nation, practicing his own brand of medicine! Quite frankly, I Believe that there should be more American Doctors in an American Hospital than Foreign Doctors, at a ratio of 9 American Doctors to 1 Foreign Doctor in order to keep Americans happy in that they are being treated by the best doctors in the world and not just some off-beat Doctor who works for "less pay" than an American Graduated Doctor. That's my personal beliefs!
Very unprofessional. I got to my appt 30 mins in advance only to sit there for over 45 mins after my appt. They never did call me back to be seen. Will never go there again. Do they think I have all day to wait for the Dr?
Urath Suresh at an appointment set me up for peritoneal dialysis with "Mills River Dialysis" and agreed to continue to monitor my progress at a recent meeting. The next day, for no reason, he withdrew from caring for me at all. He left me with no alternatives and no explanations whatsoever. He refuses to return any calls at all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
