I just want to start by saying Dr. Vaughan is so knowledgeable, professional, and passionate. His staff is very understands what we parents are going through. Our check in was awesome from Teresa and she made made us feel so welcome. I couldn't ask for a better medical experience. I totally bless him and his staff for all they have done. I will tell you if your child needs medical care he is the only doctor I would recommend. I can't tell you how thankful we are for him and his staff. Again Thank you so much..

Doctor Vaughan is the very best! My daughter had a large growth on the side of her face, and he knew everything about it and sewed her up SO well cosmetically no on can see the scar even though it was like 4-5 inches he had to cut on her face. It has been about a month or two and she looks and feels incredible! She loved how kind he was and very skilled! So grateful we found him thank you so much for blessing her!

Moved to knox from NC. My son's surgeon from NC knew Vaughan. My son was born with HD and he is the only doctor he has besides his peds that will go through great lengths to get the best care. My son has been sick, in and out of the hospital for months/ yrs, having 18 procedures before the age of 3 in TN, DC, NC for HD. Vaughan is awesome. He has humor along with his skills to get u through the procedures he does and his nurse Jessica has dealt with my calls almost weekly dealing with medical supplies. However the only downside is when he is not on-call it's a nightmare. I don't trust any other surgeon who is there or the ER.

Outstanding overall. His team, (Matt, Jessica and his new PA) of course Vaughan himself. I moved to Knoxville for better care for my LSHD son at the age of 9 months. He was able to find what had happened when he was born. Treatment for SIBO, entercolitis and metabolic acidosis and bowel issues due to hirschsprung disease. Many trips to the ER, numerous admitting and many rectal irrigations and botox. ...

My 10month old had Meckel's Diverticulitis and Dr.Vaughan did an amazing job. We were terrified of our baby having surgery, but Dr.Vaughan quickly put those fears at ease. He was more than willing to talk to you about anything and do whatever it took to explain every detail to you. He took amazing care of our baby boy and we are beyond blessed to have had an amazing surgeon like Dr.Vaughan to care for our son.

Dr. Vaughn operated on my son back in December 2017. He did a great job and was always willing to sit down and talk to us about any questions we had.
