Dr. Youmans performed a reconstruction of my right knee after an athletic injury that resulted in a torn ACL. The surgery took place in the late 80's but I started having problems with my knee feeling very loose and unstable within 12 to 24 months. Given Dr. Youmans terrible and uncaring bed side manner and personality I decided to try another orthopedic surgeon. The second surgeon found that my ACL was still torn and wasn't working as it should. I then went in for the second surgery and it was very successful with less than a third of the scar (and pain) as compared to what Dr. Youmans left me with. It's been many years since my second surgery an I'm doing fine now. I would never go back to Dr. Youmans. If things haven't changed, go to a couple of office visits with him and see for yourself.

Dr. William T. Youmans performed an ACL repair on my left knee in 1997. The surgery went perfect as did the rehabilitation. I could not think of a Dr. that I would have rather had. Thank you Dr. Youmans!
