Terrible bedside manner doesn't listen to her patients. She's only had c-sections herself and pushes them to get more money and not to upset her schedule. She has no clue that if you've pushed a baby out your more in tune with your body and know where your parts are. I had severe burning coming down my cervix and gradually came out and had me red and raw I begged her to look at it. She looked at me like I was gross to ask... I even asked if she could just check to see if I was dialated and told me I had a yeast infection and no she wouldn't look. I explained this is not a yeast infection for three weeks straight! I was 37 weeks pregnant on my last visit she claimed I was 38. I finally just bought the monistat like she said took it when I left and went into full blown labor. My water broke and was green and clumpy full off meconium ( baby fece*!) She told the hospital she was going out to drinks with her friends so don't bother her with any calls. So another doctor did my emergency c-section and sewed me up wrong so I had to have surgery to correct it later on. She did all of my ultrasounds except my final one that the tech tried to tell me something was bad wrong with my baby. Instead of listening to the ultrasound tech she went off on her and told me to report her. The tech told me my baby weighed 5lbs 7 ozs and she said she was wrong my baby was 8 or 9 lbs. My son was born at 5lbs 7ozs had a horrible heart condition and patau syndrome. Had she informed me I could of got him to a hospital that would've treated him instead I was uninformed and the hospital forced me to pull the plug when my son was 2weeks old. They made an excuse that his lungs were very full of meconium which caused allot of damage and they couldn't get it all out because my doctor didn't inform them that it was there and she held me at another hospital for 4 days. All negligence done by her. My son passed at 2 weeks old when they pulled the plug on him refusing to offer him care! I also had a friend pregnant at the same time as me and also seeing her and her baby also died! From bad care! She doesn't listen to a mothers Intuition. I even asked her why I wasn't feeling my baby move or why I wasn't connecting with him I felt something was wrong. She dismissed everything I ever brought up. When my husband and I asked for a second opinion from her partner she screamed at us "if you don't trust me go somewhere else.. do you want your baby to die!" She slammed the door and walked off in her red bottom shoes. I felt at a loss because at the point I started realizing she was incompetent I was very far along in my pregnancy. The children's hospital said my son measured to be a 37 week old baby just like I calculated. Do not use her. We all thought she lost her license. I tried to sue her and she was out of practice. Now that the time is up and I can't sue her I find out she's back in practice. This is horrible for others. Please do not go to her she will abuse you mentally and haunt you for the rest of your life. I have to live with my son is dead because of her treatment. I can't get my baby back!
She dropped my care at 30 weeks because my husband insisted on speaking to get directly about the way she completely ignored my concerns and told me everything was my fault because I was eating too much (I wasn't, I was vomiting constantly).
I loved her she was great!! To bad she decided to retire :/
Dr culbreth is very short lived with patients and does not want to handle issues she has caused.
Horrible attitude/bedside manner & guilt tripped me into an unneeded csection.
Staff was always kind to me. Culbreth always rushed me after making me wait SO long each appt. She had a horrible attitude/bedside manner and made me feel like I was stupid for asking questions. She also guilt tripped me into an unneeded csection for totally invalid reasons, most likely just because I was taking too long for HER. Would never recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Culbreth was amazing with my first daughter and I would think of no one else to use as my OB!!
The staff in this office is inexcusably rude; they whispered while I sat right in front of them, talked behind my back when I came in for records. This was with my 2nd pregnancy, I'd had preeclampsia with my first. I gained weight very fast even though I was not able to eat much with morning sickness. Dr. Culbreth was persistent that it was my fault, that I was eating too much junk, and I often left the office in tears because I felt like she never listened. My husband called demanding to know why she was being so cruel to me, and she decided to drop my care at 33 weeks. My baby ended up born 10lb9oz and with a shoulder dystocia from being too big. Now she has nerve damage. I fully blame this doctor for her lack of care and attention to our needs. Horrible, stay far away!!!
She really takes her time and care for her patients!! I have twins and she has been their Doctor since birth and the will be seven in November!! She is the best! Thanks Dr. Culbreth
I was referred to dr Culbreth from my primary care doctor when I found out I was pregnant. My primary care doc said that dr Culbreth had delivered her set of twins and she was very pleased so I thought if she was good enough for my doctor she was good enough for me! At first glance the office could have been nicer as far as looks go, but the staff was fantastic every time I went in. My wait was never over an hour and Dr. Culbreth instantly put me at ease on our first meeting. When it came time to deliver I was happy to find out I was able to be induced THANK GOD and no the decision was not forced. She let me try and deliver for 16 hours before the baby's heartbeat started to drop and it was time for a c-section. I was in and out of surgery in a matter of minutes and healed very quickly. She also did my sons circumcision which turned out great! I can't imagine anyone else delivering my future children and I would highly recommend her to any of my friends.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
