Dr. Baker was a wonderful Dr. Made sure we understand everything and showed a great, caring bedside manner. I have never met a Dr. that cared like she did.
She was very thorough and knew my medical history. She wants to get answers very quickly.
Don't worry about being on time for your appointment they are always running 30 to 45 minutes behind.
I have been seen here for anemia. No problems. Dr. Schleicher was very attentive and took his time to listen and explain things. But then...... I was reffered to Dr. Peyton for mast cell activation syndrome. After a quick visit he told me I did not have mastocytosis, I agreed and stated I wasn't here for that. He took no time to educate himself on mcas. He didnt take the time to find out what testing should be done for MCAS and ignored my out of range Ig results. After several visits he told me " I think you just keep coming to get away from your kids". I was so angry. He then made referrals to places that did not accept my insurance and refused to help myself and neurologist with proper dosage of the mast cell stabilizer I am taking. He showed no interest in educating himself on any other mast cell disorder other than mastocytosis. I have seen other physicians in other fields of medicine who agree with my mcas diagnosis even tho it's not in their specialty. My neurologist took his time to do his research and together we are trying to navigate finding treatment. After reading my chart notes and the dismissive attitude towards my symptoms I felt compelled to warn others of this medical gaslighting. It's hard enough to be chronically ill and fight to get a medical doctor to take you seriously is so demeaning. I have to do the research and ask for the appropriate tests and medications myself. This is such a shame and the reasons why our medical systems in America are failing.
Tennessee Oncology is the best place to meet your cancer needs where the focus it's always on you, the patient!
We have been going to Tennessee Oncology for 8 years between Nashville and mostly Lebanon office. I have told many people how much this office is such a welcome place. The nurses are so informed and take the best care of the patients. My husband trusted them all. Dr. James Peyton is the BEST in my book. I am not a trusting person but I have believed in him because of his straight talk and his efforts got my husband through 8 years of multiple myeloma. I pray you and your loved one never have to meet Dr. Peyton and his wonderful team. But if you are sent there Be a peace you WILL be given #1 best treatment. I HAVE TRUSTED him for a long time. GOD BLESS these dedicated workers. Thank you all. BEWARE! They use to except BCBS. Dropped it in April 2021. We went for another PET scan in Nov 2021. They did not mention to me any changes in the insurance coverage! Now I am stuck with a $1300 bill! Complete dishonesty!
Dr Steven and his staff were so wonderful. They went above and beyond I would recommend them to everybody
Went out of way to help me was straight on answers called to check on me love it there
Dr. Peyton and his staff/nurses have always gone above and beyond to make sure that my health came first. I was diagnosed with a rare form of colon cancer in Feb, 2017 and my last treatment was in September of that same year. They were always so good to me and my family and for that I am truly grateful!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
