List of Amir Ali Hussaini's Reviews
He is a great doctor, actually listens to what you have to say and wants to help you!! That is hard to find in many doctors these days.
He has taken amazing care of me for 11 years. You couldn’t find a more caring or pleasant individual if you tried. Anyone that gets to call him their doctor should count their blessings. He has seen me through catastrophic life events including a terminal cancer diagnosis. Seriously, this man will be invited to my wedding. Love him!
I first met Dr. Amir Hussaini at Parkwest Hospital. It was on a Sunday. I felt sure he would not come on a Sunday to evaluate my medication, so was resigned to spend another night away from my family, dogs and bed. Dr. Hussaini showed up Sunday afternoon. I liked him and appreciated his Sunday visit and the great amount of time he spent with me. He prescribed a different medication. Five months later and working perfectly without a single side effect! I met with him this March 2020, just to touch base. He, again, spent all of the time I needed. I got my many questions answered. I like and trust his judgment very, very much. He has improved my life 100%. Only someone with MDD for decades can truly understand how important this is.
He is a trustworthy and good Dr. He is making the holidays brighter for us. Taking into mind all are things going on and dealing with it accordingly.
Excellent doctor. He spent a good amount of time evaluating me. I liked him a lot. Speaks excellent English and educated me in important ways to feel better.
It took me months to convince my husband to seek treatment for what I believe is anxiety and depression. As many reputable websites suggest, I helped him write out a list of his concerns to take to the appointment. I took off from work to go with him because he was very nervous. When the doctor finally came to get him 30 minutes after his appointment time, he asked me to stay in the waiting room. My husband expressed that he wanted me to go with them, but the doctor insisted. About 30 minutes later they came out and my husband was obviously angry. The doctor motioned me over, handed me my husband’s prescription and told me he needs therapy or there is no hope.... this was in the waiting room where everyone could hear. We scheduled another appointment with him and one with a therapist, but the second we got outside my husband said he never wanted to go back. He said the doctor took his list of concerns and said “you don’t need this”. He also said that the doctor kept berating him for wanting me to be with him, for not answering questions quickly enough, and for not being confident enough. He even said that when he mentioned how we wanted to buy a house, the doctor asked what was wrong with our apartment. My husband replied that the rent was expensive, and the doctor replied that if he worked hard enough he could afford it. That is completely unprofessional in my opinion. Now my husband is swearing off any mental health treatment at all, and I don’t know what to do. So, I’m not very impressed. I’ll also mention that I’m a School Counselor, so I have that background knowledge. Anyways,
Absolutely perfect doctor
This doctor is supposed to be a psychiatrist. For anyone out there suffering mental illness he is NOT someone I would trust with myself or a family member. My mother’s been out of the hospital for five months and has been successful with her antidepressants and he had her walking out of the office crying. She said he made her feel so insignificant. Myself being in the medical field for 11 years he needs to have his license revoked for such poor care and bedside manner. Find another doctor that will be there to listen and have compassion and patience not this quack!
I have had a great experience with Dr Hussaini. He was always willing to work with me to adjust my medications. For example, one medication made me really thirsty, and I use my medication to help me sleep as well as an antidepressant and he understood that making sure to prescribe medication that causes drowsiness at night. Also, I have been his patient for over four years and have been both with and without insurance. If you do not have insurance, you may have no fee or reduced fee.
Dr Hussain has been my Dr awhile and I have been unhappy.it took me going to peninsola hospital and a class that led into reporting your Dr.that is starting this.I am schizo affective, but since I detoxed at my last intake Dr Hussani is telling me I can't get the right diagnosis anymore BC now its official BC they "diagnosed" me as an addict.he went on to tell me he was gonna turn in people and I'd never get the proper psychiatric care BC I am now deemed an addict as my diagnosis.I have other diagnoses that need a dressed.he badgered me and definitely made me to where I'll not tell him anything in confidence anymore.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
