List of Andrew Maclellan's Reviews
Very good job at explaining procedure, surgery organized, pain block before was so smart, pain not that bad after surgery like others described. So far healing process much much better then I expected. Wonderful people would recommend them for sure.
Terrible bedside manner. Very rude doctor and nurse. Talks bad about their patients out in the hallway. Very unprofessional!!
I do not recommend this doctor
Amazing Staff, Fantastic Doc very knowledgeable with years of experience.
Had to have two of my fingers amputated. He did amazing work. Explain in detail the possible out comes. Answered any questions we had. Having to go back for another possible surgery. Which we were warned it could happen. We even research this ourselves. He really knows his stuff. Very happy! It's been a year since i have been there. I am okay going back. I know i will get amazing care. Love his staff as well.
He was not helpful, he wanted to xray me for a muscle injury, and said he could not have mri done until I had xray or physical therapy. Do not recommend.
Very arrogant is all I can say.
Failed to properly diagnose fractured humerus causing surgery at 9 weeks. Totally upset
Daughter was diagnosed by Dr a year or so ago, pain still in her knee, so went back to re-evaluate and nurse prepared her for an x-ray, he comes in, says some random stuff about pain, no x-ray and looks at me as if I am crazy when I mentioned previous diagnosis as if he never said it. Extremely rude, very little bedside manner an more arrogance than one should have. Definitely finding another orthopedist as I have given this one too many chances already. Best of luck!
Arrogant is all I can say. Went to Dr. Maclellan for knee and elbow inflamtion. He had an observer with him that I assume may have been a medical student. After telling of my pain in both joints he stated that he will only do one joint per visit. After reiterating the pain I had in both joints and not understanding why he couldn't give a cortezone shot for each joint, he looked at his watch and stated "you've just wasted another 10 minutes of my time". I can only guess that he thought he was impressing the observer. At that point I told him there would be NO shots today and walked out to pay my bill. The receptionist looked surprised and went back to ask Dr. Maclellan about the charges. She came back to say there was no charge for the office visit. I can only guess that he realized that he may have possibly made a mistake by his actions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
