1st of all,my name is lee lincoln thompson 3rd and i was a patient at fort loudoun primary care for about 5 years before abruptly being kicked out of his care for failing to take a drug screen, this is a verified reporting of an actual patient.i say this because i dont want to look back here in a few weeks, months or years even and see that this review, which i post so that others may know and beware, has ...
I had heard so many great things about Dr. Stoval. I had to wait a really long time to get my first appointment scheduled. My experience was completely opposite of what I read here and heard from friends. I did not have a good experience. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. This is how our relationship played out. Dr Stovall would schedule me for a blood work up appointment, and the following week I would meet with him to go over the results. When I had notations of HIGH or LOW categories on my lab results he always acted like it was no big deal and said we would keep an eye on it. Then another blood work up appointment would be scheduled around 3 months later from that date. This cycle continued for over a year. The only time I ever saw Dr Stovall was for my blood work lab results. I had three occasions when I was ill and every single time I called to get in to see the doctor, his office would say he was booked solid and I should go to their urgent care office. I never felt like Dr Stovall cared about my medical needs. I was a number and a steady invoice to the insurance company. I also would like to note that an urgent care visit cost MORE than a regular office visit. During the Covid lock down - some of the girls at the front desk had masks on, but they were pulled beneath their noses. Needless to say - I quit going to see Dr Stoval and found a new doctor in Farragut. If I could him and his office negative stars I would.
One of the best experiences that I have had with a Doctor's office. The Staff was super friendly and efficient. Dr. Stovall is one of the friendliest doctors I have had the pleasure to meet. He's very knowledgeable and he very patiently explained everything I needed to know about my medications and treatments, and he also addressed any concerns and doubts I had. If you are looking for a good family doctor for you and your family I highly recommend Dr Stovall to be your first choice. He even called me after an appointment to make sure to straighten out some details about my visit. Bottom line is I am definitely happy I chose him! Because he shows that he TRULY cares! :)
If this dang doctor didn't move all the way to Tennessee I'd still be going to him. Troy Stovall was my family doctor for many years and took care of me when he was in Northwest Indiana. Best damn doctor I ever had the pleasure of dropping' my drawers for. Down to earth guy that cares about his patients. I have yet to replace him with a doctor any where comparable to him.
the ONLY thing this guy ever did for me in 4 years was say "we dont do that here( like i just picked him out of a phone book, seriously ? a friend recommended him so i already KNOW they certainly do that there)" then he would write a referral and then send tenncare a hefty referral fee, sometimes more than once for the same problem too.i guess thats how they do it,send referrals to their buddys and they get a referral fee plus the buddy gets an office visit charge and then tells me that he cant handle the job and i need to go back to stovall for ANOTHER referral ! what a racket ! i guess he just didnt like the cut of my jib or something.i think we even have a word for it,discrimination maybe ? so im gonna give my referral now and unlike dr.stoolballs,i aint gonna charge you a penny, lol,GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE !
Great staff . Love the Doctors and Nurses.
He was my husband's Dr and was really great with explaining things we needed to know. Would personally call us as needed
Dr. Stovall is really a gem. He is well versed and up to date on anything we bring to him as a problem. He also tries to find natural solutions to health issues, but isn't afraid to prescribe drugs when needed. My family is very fortunate to find a first rate doctor in our new town.
I would recommend Dr. Stovall to anyone because he takes the time to explain your conditions to you and will do whatever it takes to treat you. If for some reason you require a more complex treatment, he has no problem finding the perfect specialist for you. As far as the staff go, they are also excellent and have never once been rude or impatient with me in any way. I couldn't recommend a better primary care provider
Well I have found even if your not sick make a appointment's or you get kicked out of the practice as a patient. I had not made a appoiment in over a year called told me sorry , well sorry I dont go to the doctor all the time. I was told I could be on a waiting list never got called back. Dr. Stovall is a great doctor and I want my doctor and I fell this is bad business. Im tried of these others I just want my doctor back not happy!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
