This place helped me in a time I didn’t want help
Great place overall... some really great people that work there... I'm truly blessed to have met them.... saved my life!!!!!
I was tricked ! Had all my paperwork to go to cornerstone. They accepted me at cornerstone. They took my insurance. They stole my prescription medication. They sent me to stepping stone, never even heard of this place. They don't take anything seriously besides trying to get high. I figured that all out in 2 hrs of being dropped off I left as soon as I figured this out. If u want ur recovery being taken seriously DO NOT GO THERE! I promise u will regret wasting time on these people.
Desiree, Amy, Amber, & Linda are phenomenal. Amy and Desiree give the BEST advice. Amber is so supportive and sweet, and Linda is all the tough love u need. These women are the absolute best and made my experience so much better than I could've ever imagined. I AMA on the 24th of Dec. However if you come here for the right reasons and leave the rest alone, you will learn A TON to help you on your journey to recovery. I can't say I'm not still struggling. But this was one step ahead for me in the right direction. One day at a time. Let go and let god. Thank you sstr!!
Really have to give a star when this place is a JOKE!!! My mom was just patient at the Knoxville location. She blacked out a was rushed to Blount memorial hospital where she still at.she was blue where she laid there without help no oxygen. I the hospital is a still trying to get her records from that place. My sister an I drove to the rehab Sunday to get them to send her stuff over an they still ain’t. But this place is a joke I walked in an said hello can I get some help an the staff just looked at me an walked off… anyone on the streets can do whatever there.. there is fentanyl going on there the hospital said there is least 4-5 people aweek coming from that place from an OD. An I did record my visit there an I will be doing something about this place soon. They literally don’t have a clue what goes on here the staff cares less. An even the patients was telling me who the person was handing the drugs out to people an the staff didn’t care. So if anyone wants a family member to get better an to better there life this is not the place.
Had good and bad experiences at stepping stone but Denver Johnson kinda yelled at me In a way i will never forget. I honestly think him, Darren and Tracy saved my life one night I tried to AMO early. Finished treatment and coined out Dec. 16 been sober ever since. Sometimes one conversation can change your life but you have to hear it to listen
I refer a lot of people from the court systems and they all get good care. They are very flexible with referral sources, and keep me up to date on my clients.
my wife was in there and let's just say the Communcation isn't all that good. they had to call an ambulance for her to bring her to the hospital and no one reached out to me to let me know anything till 24hrs later when my wife called to tell me. And the staff said it because it was too late in the day, but it was 3pm when they called the ambulance.
Inwardly I was longing for a way out of the game of addiction. Having tired recovery before I wasn't sure about it. Finding my Schema's was as it says a stepping stone to weightlessness.
Just left this God send of a place today. If you go in there for the right reasons with an open mind and heart then you will get what you need to start your recovery journey. I loved the staff and the fact there is just 2 to a room when you move to residential. Denver and Adrienne are the best people ever and I feel like I was there through complete divine intervention. Surround yourself with the people who want recovery there and leave the rest of it alone. This is truly a wonderful place.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
