Neighborhood Health At Madison's Online Review Report Card

BAD..BAD..BAD;!!!!!

I should have paid more attention to the reviews! The call center and this Health Center are not on the same page. Big waste of my time. Wouldn't refer anyone here for any service!!!!

I decided to give them another chance. At the time before this one, Dr. M Nelson was condensing and I had to repeatedly (4-5) time tell him what I needed. This last visit will be my last. I had been using them for a number of years but they have gone downhill. I bring a list of my current meds, if not on the list I am not taking them. So you do not need to go over all my RX. Two LO|OK AT ME when you talk to me. I do not think she looked at me more than one time. I have problems with my knees. and some days it is all I can do to walk. I asked about a handicap placard to use just for the bad days. She sighed the form but did not least any handicap. That was a total waste, they are not giving you something without that. She knew that and even said she doubt I would get one. She mumbled something about testing for congestive heart failure. that was all she said. My father died from that so do not go mentioning it unless you have proof that is what is wrong.When I go to the doctor I write out what I am there to see them about. |One of the things was my varicose veins are itching like crazy. The final straw pf me deciding not to return was her response to that. " I can't do anything about that ". Maybe not but how about suggesting I would need to see a vein specialist, or what to use on them to help? The only thing she said was to wear compression stockings. I do that already and still itch. Maybe they feel that if you do not have insurance you do not get the same time as you would somewhere else. The bad thing is I have insurance. The only good thing was the great lady that did the blood draw for the lab tests. The test no one called me about . I am lucky I have someone that can explain them to me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I came twice and each time they refuse to see me because of lack of doctors. They say is going to take forever. I tried to make an appointment.. and they offer one in 3 weeks.. thanks but I am sick NOW. Oh but they say you can come on Saturday we open at 8 am. . Well I was there until 8.45 nobody open. Clinic was closed

Not helpful. Understaffed. There were 2 people sitting on the front porch to make sure everybody has a mask that enters. But only 1 person working the 3 windows in the office? Very long line inside. I stood there for about 15 min and just left. I only needed a piece of paper signed about a recent physical. Not going back or bringing my kid back for checkups. I don't recommend this clinic.

They seem like they’re low on staff.

I'm honestly not one to go put a review but I felt I had to here. I used to love coming here back when Dr Nguyen worked at this location. She was the sweetest and seemed caring and understanding. I can't remember the name of the front desk lady during that time but she was always so friendly and welcoming as well. The vibes were good! The staff has changed so much since then which I know places change and we have to adapt to new people sometimes but the reason I'm giving a 1 star is because the doctor I recently seen was very short with me. I felt he wasn't concerned with my needs. Like he was in a hurry to get me out of there. He could have been having a bad day or maybe ready to go home after a long day because I dad have a later appointment and I'm understanding to that if he had a long day. Regardless, the whole vibes felt off in this place and it didn't used to feel that way. I would say maybe it's just me but I see other reviews saying the same thing about the vibes being off and doctors being short with them. I'm not trying to bash them but there is definitely room for improvement. I will go a few more times and if things still feel the same I may switch to somewhere that better suites my needs.

Today Tuesday December 21 the 2 staff in front were supper rude and Had their name tags Covered they put them backwards, because they knew that they were doing, they were soo rude, everybody in there Was so mad, there was a Hispanic lady that had given birth 9 days ago in pain that was waiting there for 2 hours same as me, I approached to ask a bout my appointment from 2 hours they got mad at me and told me I should've fill something by phonecall?? I've never had to do anything like that in 8 years I've been going to this neighborhood besides that when I told them "I don't know how to fill those out my English isn't too good" she said well you are late anyways..I was there 15 minutes before my appointment! I felt so discriminated and out of place and I can speak for the other Hispanics that were there waiting to, because this is the first time this happens, yall please need to check those employees...yall are going to loose patients like that this is my closest neighborhood but I'm willing to drive longer or change if I continue to get treated like that..

Staff was very helpful and the doctor clearly cared about my needs. This place helped me through a difficult time.
