I was having some chest pains in his office and he said it was impossible without exertion. He had never heard of variant angina. Then looking at a CT scan I had done, he wanted to rush me to a surgeon as I had gallstones show up but I was asymptomatic. I went elsewhere. 2 years later and still doing fine.

My wife and I have been a patient of Dr. Proffitt's since 2017. He is a fantastic doctor with great bed side manor. Dr. Proffitt and his staff are fantastic. My wife and I have been a patient of his since 2017. He is extremely knowledgeable, great listener, caring, down to earth with a fantastic bed side manor. Best doctor and ancillary staff in town. He’s down to earth, listens to you, and really cares. Nurses and PA are excellent also. I won’t go to anyone else in town.medicsarge

dr missed diagnosised . First view visit with just annual he was excellent. then a problem he and his nurse made errors.

Don't waste your time. Doesn't honor appointments, doesn't treat the cause, just takes the easy route and writes prescriptions.

I would not recommend this doctor. I had to fill out the same forms for the same information each time I visited (3 times). Even had the same information on their web site. Last visit, I waited 1 hour in the waiting room for my scheduled appointment and never got seen. No one was even around when I left. Not even a receptionist. Next time I tried to schedule an appointment, they told me it would be a 3 month wait. Is this a medical provider you would want?

Dr Proffitt and his staff have always been professional. I have never seen or heard them talking about other patients their personal life etc. When I go to the doctor it is for them to diagnose and treat. Dr Proffitt respects this. He will provide additional information on his diagnosis. When sent to other specialist he always follows up with me and he has always read the other doctors notes before he comes in to see me. I appreciate this.Overall I am well pleased with Dr Proffitt.

I think wait time could be somewhat decreased if there were two clinical staff members. The nurse is hard pressed to attend to the patient's needs
