Susan Harlow's Online Review Report Card

If I could give no stars I would!!! I have been trying for over a year to get in as a new patient for Dr. Harlow but the person that makes the "list" is so completely incompetent and rude. 1st called- Aug 2021- was told that one of doctors was going to be out on maternity leave and the other was leaving the practice and that I'd have to be put on "The List" OK fine, saw another doctor in the mean time. Called back in May 2022, to see where I was at on the list, never heard of me. Ok, back on the list I go. Aug 2022 call again to see where I'm at again, Oh it's still gonna be a while but I'm on the list and they'll call when they have an appointment open. Call again today Oct 5th 2022, not on the list, never heard of me AGAIN!!! I'm done, I'd rather go to Dr. Kevorkian at this point.

After moving to a new community, I was a little nervous about finding a new family doctor. I asked new friends and neighbors for recommendations. After four recommended Dr Harlow, I started seeing her. I have never had a more caring and attentive physician. I so appreciate the excellent care she provides me, from personally checking back w me by phone to see how I was doing when I was going through illnesses, to always taking the time to really listen and talk with me during office visits. I feel blessed she was taking new patients when I moved here.

She gives pills to recovering pain pill addicts. And now they are back on them. They don't care about the patients, just what they can get out of them.

I am not impressed. There was a clerical mistake made from the funeral home on my dads death certificate that Harlow signed. A corrected certificate was resubmitted for her to sign but she has not signed it. Her office says she only signs on Wednesday's. I have reached out to her several different ways, explaining that it is holding up the processing of things like insurance, banks, pensions, etc. The death of a loved one is hard enough, along with the legal processes that require a death certificate. How hard is it to stroke a signature to help the family of the loved one that is gone?! How much care does she really have for her patients if it's to inconvenient for her to do the simple things?! I am not impressed.

My health insurance lists Dr. Harlow as my Primary Care Provider. I haven't visited her office since 2015. I tried to schedule an appointment this morning, but according to Dr. Harlow, since I haven't visited her since 2015, I'm "no longer her patient" and she's not accepting new patients right now. I've been to her before, so I'm not a new patient. Clearly, they still have my file on record or they wouldn't know that I've been there before.. and since they still have my file on record, I don't understand how she's saying I'm no longer her patient. Especially when my insurance has chosen and listed her as my Primary Care Provider. Very rude, unprofessional, and very unhelpful. So now I have to call my insurance, have my PCP changed, find a new doctor, try to schedule an appointment or go to a walk-in clinic. I highly DO NOT recommend Dr. Harlow. She's not accepting new patients right now anyway.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harlow's for several years now. She has always provided me with the best care possible. I have referred several of my family members and friends to her, because of the outstanding care provided. I am thankful to have such a great doctor in our community. The staff are great as well!

My problem is with her billing. She always bills my husband's appointments as 1 year follow up appointments so she can charge our insurance and us more when she should be billing them as wellness visits, which are covered 100% by our insurance. I have to call every year and have everything rebilled so our insurance will cover the visits like they are supposed to. Extremely frustrating!

Seen Elizabeth Wilder on several occasions . Makes patients visit during a pandemic in order for her to prescribe simple medications just so she can get her money for the visit, no concern for her patients with low immune systems. Charges you for every little thing they do in big amounts, doesn't help with already known medical problems etc. Don't go here, save your money, time and health.
