HORRIBLE E.R.!!!! These ppl have attitudes, they act like you're bothering them when you ask a question after you've sat for 4-5+ HOURS. Tonight, after waiting my second visit in a week, I was told "you're not guaranteed to be seen because it don't matter how long you been here. More important issues come before you." I have a middle ear infection, throat hurting, migraine out of this world, but THEY get to determine other ppl as more important... NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!
My Dad was admitted with a kidney infection. He was treated with antibiotics and a drain tube installed in the kidney. After a few weeks stay he was sent to a rehab facility WITH THE DRAIN STILL COMING OUT HIS BACK AND NO APPOINTMENT SET FOR REMOVAL. This facility needs investigation!
This has got to be the worst hospital in Memphis. My mom 86 years old was in the er for 11 hours. She had eaten in hours. They were horrible. She finally got to a room they said she had an infection. They stopped her blood pressure meds. She had some many doctors that apparently were not communicating. We had to stay with her cause after a couple weeks my mom started to have strokes. They said they she was old and they just wanted to make her comfortable. One doctor told me she’s dying and wouldn’t me it through the weekend. She lived a couple more weeks. She ended in hospice. They gave her morphine Every 2, hours.,She passed. The worst hospital ever!! Don’t Take Your Elderly family members there!!
Horrible hospital
I just witnessed a man that was on a stretcher be released in the middle of the waiting room. Not sure if he broke his leg but he could not bend it so they proped his leg in a chair and left him in so much pain. Worst hospital in the city. It wasn't until a lady that was just diagnosed with cancer tell me she had been in the waiting room for 8 hours and still didn't have a room or had been seen by a doctor. Yeah ima gone head out.
I had to go in to the surgery center today for some kidney stones to be removed by Dr Gubin. From the time I walked in the door, I was greeted by smiles and friendly staff. Sam, Pam, Jennifer, the ekg gals, Leon Walker, Dr Griffin, and the recovery folks were all great. We were in and out in a timely manner . I highly recommend this place if you can use them.
Slowest hospital in the city. Rude employees. Dirty. They do not care about there patients or the pain they are in. Need to shut this place down
They see what kind of insurance you have then they take advantage of it before they treat you don't try to ask to get transferred to another hospital they will hold you hostage there especially if you have a broken leg or something where you can't walk out. That's what they did to me you're at their Mercy Medicare should investigate them!!!
Like all Ears you do have to wait to be seen if it is not a real. Emergency. I found the ER staff friendly and caring. In fact all the nursing staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty.
For a tetanus shot for a dog bite you have to wait for more then 2 hours. The worst hospital I ever visited in any part of the world.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
