List of Albert E Weeks Md's Reviews
Dr. Weeks and his office staff are wildly unorganized and in disarray. Dr. Weeks seems very forgetful and like he cant quite keep up with tests results and patient status. Therefore no progress was ever made. After 3 visits of what felt like bad reruns we had to find a more competent doctor. Office staff was the rudest I’ve ever encountered. Even straight up lying about what type of infusions I could and couldn’t qualify for. Save your time. Go somewhere else.
I have been a patient of Dr. Alberts for 12 years and he is extremely thorough and attentitive towards my health issues. He genuinely cares not only about my Urology health, but my overall health in general. He is very knowledge about the "best" specialized doctors in OC and would recommend him to anyone. As for his long term staff team, they are very knowledgeable towards my care.
Should have read the online reviews before my visit. The assessments which categorize him as arrogant and rude are completely accurate. Wait time was over an hour despite having an appointment. When I finally did get to see the doctor, it was clear he was rushing to get me out the door and spoke to me for no more than five minutes. I brought up an issue I had been having which was part of the reason I went to see a doctor in the first place, I didn't even get to finish my sentence describing the problem to him before he immediately dismissed it, told me I was wrong, and did not address it whatsoever. Scheduled an appointment for a month from now where I will supposedly get an actual exam, in the meantime he had insightful medical advice such as "drink lots of water", which I am so glad I went to a medical professional to get.
Three weeks ago, I made an appointment to see Dr. Albert. The appointment was for 11am today, and they asked me to arrive early to fill out paperwork. I arrived early and saw that the person ahead of me also gave his appointment time as 11am. Hmmm... That person was called in at 11am. At 11:20, I was given the paperwork to fill out, so why did I arrive early? I completed the paperwork, and at 11:40 I still hadn't been called in, so I told them I had to leave as I had somewhere else to go. I shouldn't have scheduled two things so closely, but they were calling other people who I think had later appointment times than mine, so I don't know if they would have called me anyway. I left, but was able to go back about an hour later, so I did, but they were all out to lunch. I called after their return time, and they said I couldn't see him until next month. I'd already waited three weeks, and they couldn't fit me in, even though they had double-scheduled my time and hadn't seen me by 40 minutes after. So now I'm having to find a new doctor who can see me soon, as my situation is actually kind of urgent. My med group is helping me with that, but I'm done with Dr. Albert.
Worst service ever the receptionist are rude and careless they cancel patients appt whenever they feel like it
Rude, arrogant doctor. He doesn't listen. This place is a nightmare. To mention, front receptionists are completely rude as well. Please avoid this place at all costs.
I like this doctor. I like his staff. What I don't like are the wait times. Every time I've come here their lobby is packed with people and I end up waiting at least a half hour over my scheduled appointment time 35 minutes and counting today. The doctor is a very laid back guy who really seems to care about you and the staff is always super friendly with me.And so, I wait.
Excellent and compassionate person who take the time to listen. I’ve been seeing him since 2009... I’m so glad he ‘divorced’ West Cancer Center and is back at his own practice!
Never called back after referred. Once I did it through they were rude. Had a great appt with the team at OC Urologists.
Dr. Albert and one of his staff (Angie) are the most unprofessional and incompetent bunch I have ever dealt with.I had to wait ONE month for an appointment. In order to book the appointment, I had to fax over my authorization referral several times. On the second day, Angie finally acknowledged receipt after I was trying to call. When I finally waited the month and got to my appointment, I had to wait 1.5 hours. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early to my appointment to complete paperwork. When I arrived, the lobby was filled with patients who were waiting, many of them longer before I even arrived. I filled out my paperwork, and was told an hour later by Angie they never received an authorization. I reminded her that she would not let me book an appointment in the first place. Somehow then, she found it and printed it out. I got a nice rebuke from Angie too for waiting on turning in my paperwork, because the lobby was so full of people, I couldn't get back to the front window because two disabled people in wheelchairs were blocking it and patiently waiting as well. So apparently being a good first time customer waiting for the two office staff to try and deal with madhouse wasn't appreciated. To boot, a man was allowed to come into the lobby and sit without a mask, and claimed that Dr. Albert allowed him to do so, because he and Dr. Albert are ANTI-VAXXERS. So amidst me waiting for my appointment, a slightly heated and verbose argument takes place, to which the office staff finally opens the admitting door, and then ask why my blood pressure is jacked when examining my vitals. When I get to see Dr. Albert, he does stick his head in the examination room briefly to apologize for the long wait (1 hr 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time). Then when inspects me, he yanks my pants down and continually squeezed on a very painful growth which was the reason I went to see him. I winced with pain, each time he kept asking "does it hurt, does it hurt?" At the end of the ordeal, I asked him if I needed to have it removed, he did state he needed to do an MRI. Since my PCP already did an ultrasound, I provided his office with that. Angie then called back and said that Dr. Albert reviewed the ultrasound and no MRI is needed, and that if I am in pain and since I am moving to another state next month, that I should go see a urologist in that state instead. So come to Dr. Albert's office if you want to be tortured and abused, neglected, then denied care by the most incompetent medical staff ever. Will be filing a complaint with the State Board as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
