My technician was nice. She explained each step involved and made sure my qualifications were answered.
Tues nap 3 to 4 sleep 10 to 6
They were very nice and helpful and very respectful didn't have know problems.
I went in for a consultation, everyone was very nice. I was told,” that they will call me with my price, and other information.” No one ever called me. I had to call them, just to find out they forgot to call me. I received my price, and confirmed everything. COVID hit, so of course I had to wait. When we were allowed back I had to once again call them, just to find out they went up $200 more on the agreed amount before COVID hit. No cool at all.
The lady answering the phone (Candice) needs some serious customer service skills training.Your an adult! No one is forcing you to work a job that requires you to deal with the public so lose the attitude! Your attitude is about as bad as an fast food employee. No one is forcing you to be there!
The technologists perform a very labor intensive diagnostic sleep test yet they are very professional by ensuring that the patients feel as comfortable and at ease during the process. They explain the process and they discuss in layman terms the importance of sleep health, good sleep habits, sleep apnea and snoring, sleep hygiene, and related topics. The first night is a diagnostic study to see what underlying factors are impacting ones sleep. If a patient is invited back to sleep again then the doctor has reviewed the diagnostic data and determined that the problem is disordered breathing or sleep apnea. The purpose of a second night test is to slowly titrate Continous Positive Airway Pressure or CPAP to treat breathing related disordered sleep. Yes, sleep apnea requires a second test to fine tune a therapy pressure of CPAP for home therapy. After the data has been compiled on the CPAP test then the sleep specialist can formulate a Taylor made program for the patient. The exam rooms are small with little more than a bed, table, chair, sink, and television. The bathrooms have handicapped accessible showers. They are covieniently located. The exam rooms are about the same size as a normal medical exam room. There is a lounge, a kitchen with a juice and non caffeinated coffee bar, and a few doctor consultation rooms. The facility is well located in the Wells Fargo building on Kirby Parkway just north of Poplar Ave. There is a well lighted parking lot, controlled access to the building and the sleep lab all located in a desirable East Memphis location.People make the difference in any organization. ASM is blessed with the brightest individuals who want to help you regain your sleep health.
Worst experience I have ever had. Went in for a study to see if my machine was effective and set up correctly an evaluation study. They said I was in for a study to see if I had sleep apnea, something I told them I had for over 20 years. They didn't let me use my machine all night said I had sleep apnea and then wanted me to come back the next night to check to see what levels my machine needed to be set at. I told them no way was I spending another night there, room dirty, noisy, equipment failures all night, which means they wake you up, and unhappy attendants. I had to call the attendant just to go to the Mixed bathroom down the hall, sometimes it was busy and I had to wait in the hall. Shower was small and also down the hall in bathroom. After this was done then I needed my records to get a new machine which I was told by them would be paid for by insurance. They drug their feet so long about getting me the paper work I needed that I would have to pay fully for the machine. Took them almost two months to get paper work, and at that they couldn't help me because they were not part of my insurance plan. What a mess. New development my mother's Dr. told her she needed a study and he set it up at this place. They called at 3:15 PM to tell her about the appointment and later that afternoon after they had closed, she told me about it. I told her I wouldn't go there, that she should insist on Baptist or Methodist sleep centers. They have equipment that works, courteous attendants, bathrooms and showers in your room. My 87 year old mother called them the next morning and said she would not be making the appointment. They told her it would cost her $150.00 for canceling in under 24 hours. She hadn't had the appointment for 17 hours yet. If you need a sleep study Insist on going somewhere else. Please.
Professional and knowledgeable staff. I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my entire experience. Would definitely recommend.
Poor communication and a needlessly lengthy process have driven me to leave this review. I cannot say if there are better options, but I can say that my experience here would drive me to try anywhere else if I ever had to go through this again. An example to give a flavor of the experience: a prescription was written 14 days before it was finally sent to the medical supply company that will fulfill it (after they wrangle with insurance). I called twice in this 14 day period and was told that it was held up with insurance. But how can that be? Once the script is written is it up to the medical supply company at that point??? Who knows, all I know is this is taking forever and nobody can offer any reasonable explanation of why.
I went in for my appointment. Everyone There was friendly. I receive an appointment to come back the same day. The room was neat. It could use some upgrades.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
