Dr. Chappell is an excellent doctor! He listens and gets quite personal to assist with your needs during pregnancy. He’s very open and makes the patient feel comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone who’s expecting a baby. You will be very pleased!

Dr. Chappell checked in on me in the hospital before my doctor could arrive. While performing what I thought was a routine cervical check, he put a scalp electrode on my baby’s head and then told me what he had done after the fact. This type of monitor is usually only used if there is a problem with the external monitor, which had been picking up baby’s heart rate without a problem. I was too in shock to say anything in the moment. Thinking about it now, I don’t know what bothered me more, the unnecessary wound/scab my daughter had her first week of life or the feeling of having someone put their hand into me to perform a procedure they didn’t have consent for. Either way, if I have another baby with this practice, he will not be touching me.

Best gynecology appointment I’ve ever had. Professional, clean, fast & easy, the doctor and the nurses had great bedside manners, the staff was very helpful. I’m a new patient & they made me feel very comfortable. Pain free exam & pap, & Covid safe.

Amazing physician who truly cares and listens to his patients. It can be challenging finding a doctor that is just right for you, and I must say that he is the best by far! Check him out for yourself!!

Dr. Chappell is an INCREDIBLE doctor. He removed 18 pounds of polyps from my moms body in order to stop her bleeding. She couldn’t be put to sleep during the operation due to other medical reasons so he made sure she was as comfortable as possible and allowed her to listen to her favorite singer Prince throughout the procedure. She couldn’t stop raving about how good of a doctor he is. My mom, Bevry, passed away recently and I realized how rare good doctors like Dr Chappell are. When you’re a black woman, it’s hard finding a good OBGYN doctor who makes you feel comfortable. It was clear to me Dr Chappell doesn’t see color. He cares about people and he’s an amazing doctor. I’ll always have the memory of how he catered to my mom while saving her life.

Referred to Dr. Chappell by Emergency Department visit. X-ray showed significant knee damage. Dr Chappell never looked at ED X-rays or report from ED. Simply stated that I should have weight loss surgery and he would not do any further treatment until I had the surgery. After speaking with several of his patients it appears that this is his "go to diagnosis". Have bariatric surgery and it will fix all of your problems! Dr Chappell stated that I am too young for a knee replacement however my TWIN sister had a very successful knee replacement by another orthopedic surgeon approximately 3 years ago! Time to find another orthopedic surgeon that will at least do X-rays and look at reports and referrals from other doctors regarding my issues instead of just promoting bariatric surgery. Not a fan of Dr. Chappell.
