Bao-Vi Nguyen's Online Review Report Card

We had a discussion about my mother having cancer and the direction of care. He didn't want to listen to us and is very dismissive. Most importantly he is not compassionate about our situation and our wishes.

Dr. Nguyen has a gentle and remarkable way working with his patients. I am a medical professional and patients what they need. I only have good things to Dr. Nguyen. He is patient, well respected and is an excellent resource for anybody who has pain and want to find a different approach. Thank you for taking care of my spine pain.

I've been seeing Dr. Nguyen now for 8 years. I've had 4 spinal surgeries and if it were not for the amazing care that I get with Dr. Nguyen, my life would be a nightmare. He has literally given me a life that I can tolerate. He is a very caring, compassionate and understanding Doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. I receive S1 epidurals approx every 4 months. The injections happened fast & I didn't even know what had happened, well if you have ever had epidurals, they can be unpleasant however the pain only lasts about a min or two and you want them done fast, certainly not slow. Dr. Nguyen also explains everything in detail while doing the procedure so as not to surprise you with anything unpleasant. I trust him 100% with providing me with a life that I can live with and reducing my pain to a level that allows me to do everyday activities that so many take for granted, such as grocery shopping, walking up and down stairs, playing with my son, picking up my son, being able to enjoy a walk among many other things. I am very grateful that he is my doctor and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who suffers from chronic pain and who wants to function as close to a normal person as possible.

Scheduled appointments take up to an hour in the waiting area plus more in the private rooms. After your appointment is done you have to wait at least 10 minutes to get your paperwork and next appointment. "Walk ins" don't really see the Dr. unless someone who has made an appointment cancels which is a gamble on whether you'd want to stay and wait. You also don't specifically see this Dr. at Geriatrics, but often see other Dr.'s who work with him.

I had sechduled appoinment which I sechduled ahead of time and they saw me after 45 minutes of waiting of my sechduled time. Even if you have a sechduled appoinment they will make you wait for maybe up to an hour. They have a letter on the wall that says if you are late then you have to resechdule for another day yet they can take 45 minutes to an hour to call you for your appoinment every time even its not busy at all. That is ridicoulous and hypocritical. I would never recommend.

I came here again, and had never been disappointed. Dr. Nguyen is still expert in his job.

I have come to his office enough times to say he is one of my best doctor. The communication is easy, and he has skills in his jobs.

Dr. Nguyen and his staff are very professional and caring. Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable. I have had chronic low back pain and chronic neck pain for many years. Dr. Nguyen has helped tremendously.

I thought my pain would be with me forever due to break leg from a match of college football. After meeting Dr. Nguyen for first treatment, I come to his office frequently. Now, after 2 months, I can feel walking with much less pain than before treatment.

I can't believe that my pain can go away after just few times coming to do treatment with Dr. Nguyen. He's absolutely a great doctor.
