They didn't treat anything. The diagnosis wasn't completely correct. They made me sicker. They gave me medicine that made my potassium levels fall. I had to go to the hospital immediately after taking the medicine because I almost fell out. I began to shake like I was trying to have a seizure right after taking the medicine. Do not 100% trust this Gastro Clinic.

If I could give no stars, I would. My medical records are incomplete and inaccurate. Dr. Fields stated at my first appointment that he had received my medical records from my previous GI; however, it didn’t come to knowledge until after my procedures that he had NOT received my medical records. His bedside manor was less than lackluster, and the office staff are rude and inattentive to match. The entire practice seems as if they only see patients as dollar signs. Very negligent! I would not suggest my worst enemy to even schedule here!

Was referred here by my GP. I was 10 minutes early to my appointment so that I could fill out paperwork. I then sat for a full hour and some change past my appointment time waiting for my turn. No one called prior to tell me they were behind. No one said anything when I got in the office. Nurse apologized when she took me back to wait another 30 minutes. Doctor did not apologize at all, and did the bare minimum to justify a copay. Missed work for this appointment, could have stayed the full day had they not wasted my time.

Dr. Whatley was friendly and patient. He listened to my symptoms and throughly expained my diagnosis to me. He performed an endoscopy and I knew exactly what would happen and the nurses were beyond kind. I would highly recommend him.

This office does not care for patients and their time. Its very frustrating and disappointing when you wait for a month and can't see a doctor because you are late due to their address/parking problems. I even filled all the paperwork and was confirmed to be seen by the doctor late before I arrived. They said that their nurses overruled everything. Surprisingly, they overrule their patients and fail to understand/address the problems of patients for whom they are able to make so much money. What a pity!!!

I brought my wife in today for an endoscopy. The staff are indifferent and extremely efficient processing patients like herding live stock at feeding time to the barn. Not much interaction just giving directions, signing forms, and collecting payments. Continuing the overall efficiency of process the procedure from beginning to end was very quick an lasted an hour and a half. When my wife came out she was upset and explained the staff nurse instructed her to keep her clothes on under anesthesia. She was under during the procedure and wasn’t prepared with an extra set of clothing. The staff dismissed the incident and sent her on her way. We will not be humiliated and herded in here anymore.

Every time I see my gi doctor I am reminded why I like him. He walks in, smiles, looks at my children, and says "You have a beautiful family!" No, sarcastic comments about how I have my hands full or how busy they must keep me. There's no judgement or pity. Just "you have a beautiful family!" I'm sure the man has no idea how much I appreciate that small gesture, but it means the world to me. Also, if you need a good gi doctor, Dr Paul Bierman at GI Specialists is a great doctor and a kind person.
