List of Bradford Pendley's Reviews
My mother has COPD and lung cancer. I tried to get her a prescription for an oxygen-concentrator a YEAR ago and Dr. Pendley said she didn't need it. My 83 yr old mom is not getting chemo or radiation and I totally respect that. An oxygen-concentrator does not require oxygen canisters because it concentrates the oxygen from the surrounding air. If a person can have a reduction in symptoms by increasing their o2 level then why be the roadblock to allowing the patient to see if an oxygen-concentator will make them feel better? I told Dr. Pendley I had already paid for the device and was not seeking coverage through medicare but still he claimed he couldn't write a prescription for her. Thankfully a doctor in Nevada would interview my mom and write the prescription to enable the device to be shipped so clearly it isn't that he COULD NOT write it but he WOULD NOT. Patients need options and doctors willing to help them even if they know it won't qualify for medicare coverage.
Dr. Pendley is HORRIBLE and so is his staff. My mother has been diagnosed with COPD and lung cancer. I tried to get my mom a prescription for an oxygen-concentrator a year ago, which was 6 months after finding multiple nodules in the lungs. My mom asked for a prescription while in his office and he had the nerve to say she didn't need it. She just told me she thinks she will go on hospice soon and ...
Dr. Pendley is the best. Takes time to listen and explore possible solutions to your concerns but doesn't waste time with needless procedures. If it weren't for him, I probably would have continued to ignore a problem that could have shortened my life considerably. I'm forever thankful and would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Pendley is no longer at Regional One. He is working at Verzosa Ungab Internal Medicine.
I may not always like what Dr. Pendley has to say (as I am very stubborn) but I always respect it , as he always looks out for my best interest. He is an amazing Dr., if you research his credentials you will understand. I very rarely recommend anyone (especially in public) however Dr. Pendley is an exception. He will never steer you wrong and will always look out for your best interest without fail.
I feel so very lucky to have Dr. Pendley as my primary care physician. I can not say enough about his professionalism, kindness, ability, and dedication to his patients. At a time in life when things begin to go wrong with someone of my age, he is a watchful presence. He takes/makes the time to ask the right questions, listen to, reflect upon/and act the answers and diagnostics that are involved. ...
Dr. Pendley is excellent. He patiently listens to your concerns, explains his diagnosis and recommendation for treatment. Always calls back and is dedicated to your care. I would recommend him to anyone in or around Memphis.
Dr. Pendley is the doctor you always dream of finding. His extensive background in chemistry, teaching, and internal medicine is matched only by his gift for never making the patient feel rushed. He is kind; thoughtful and dedicated to your good health, and has absolutely no ego issues. No wonder he is sought out by those in the international medical and scientific communities to speak on his on-going work and research. A prince of a man; whose multiple disciplinary expertise makes him an extraordinarily gifted physician. We are lucky to have him serving our community.
Dr. Pendley is a warm, caring and talented physician, who listens well, makes you feel as if he really cares about your good health, doesn't scold if you've veered off course, cheers you on, and never makes you feel as if he is anxious to get on to the next patient. Those of you who get anxious at the very thought of seeing a doctor will find his kind and gracious manner invaluable in calming your fears. And you need only to look at his background, be it his education, publications, teaching credentials and international lectures to know that he is highly regarded by his peers.
I love Dr. Pendley. He listens and takes the time to explain things to me and go over my test results as well. Everyone on the staff as been professional and curteous.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
