I became a patient to Dr. Mullins in 2019 for high white blood count, always very kind and concerned as to my well being. I really hate he retired and I didn't get to see him before he left, no fault of his but I was working and couldn't get off my scheduled visit date. I really looked forward to seeing him every visit. I had a very bad nose bleed in 2020 and he took very good care of me trying to get to the root of the bleeding. Glad to have been a part of this awesome physician. Thanks Dr. Mullins for your continued care and concern for me as your patient.
My wife had Dr Mullins in Baptist Hospital He diagnosed her with stag4 lung cancer He never really gave us any option for treatments He didn’t talk to me The one time I did talk to him I had to get a case worker to get him to call me on my wife’s phone I wanted him to keep me updated he wouldn’t take my number he asked does the hospital have my number He acted like he was scared to talk to me I asked about getting a second opinion he told me it wouldn’t do any good which I didn’t understand what that really meant He kept talking about referring to his colleagues but he didn’t let me talk with them My understanding that with stage 4 cancer some type treatment should have been started but he kept waiting on test results doing nothing but running up days in the hospital talking about sending her to rehab Part of her treatment was draining her lungs every 2 or 3 daafter being sent to step down this stopped she was sent home on hospice no draining Ten days no drainage She passed Oct 5
This place has been nothing but good for me. I have had such wonderful doctors and also the staff have made me feel comfortable doing my battle with breast cancer. So from the surgery center, my oncologist, I have no complaints. My doctors are Dr Vasireddy, Dr. Throckmorton and Dr. Wortham and their staff was
Dr.Mullins is always a real sweetheart and ready to help keep you healthy as needed. Been my blood doctor for a long time and helps me by answering my questions!!!
I've been a patient of Dr.Mullins since 2007, he is a very professional and caring doctor. He has come thru for me many times in my medical crisis time and time again. When ever I'm hospitalized or needing test; He's put a stop from me being put out the hospital too early, because of a doctor who tried to send me home too soon, and surely i would have died, because not only was i in the hospital three more weeks, I was then sent to a Rehabilitation center for two more months until i was healthy
My mother had been treated by Dr. Mullins for a high blood platelet count. Otherwise, she was a , high-functioning individual who had never been hospitalized.. In 2016, my mother, age 86, suffered a massive stroke an hour after a full bag of blood was with withdrawn from her in Dr. Mullin's office. She was rushed to ICU and placed on life support. I phoned Dr. Mullins' office and left a message for him to call back. My mother suffered severe brain damage and Dr. Mullin never called me back.
Dr. Mullins is absolutely incompetent. I hate that i have to write this publicly, but cannot let others go to him.
I was totally dismayed after 3 years of being with the Jones Clinic and Dr. Mullins that my wife's breast cancer metastasized and was found by a simple $80.00 x-ray. He gave no adequate answer to this except that the oncology standard is to draw blood. He then proceeded to speak to us about her bone metastasis. I interrupted him to take note that their was nothing on the pathology report about the cancer being in her bones. He opened his chart and said well I guess you are right so that's good. It was obvious that he had not even reviewed the report for this brief office visit that was specifically set for me, the husband, to discuss with him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
