Carey Campbell's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Campbell is an excellent dermatologist. I've gone to her for milia removal as well as for dysport for my crow's feet and jaw. She's professional and kind. Her office is lovely and I am always seen quickly. She does not push products, botox or filler and I appreciate that she gives a natural look.

Dr Taven gave me the confidence to be me. Approximately twelve years I decided to have my nose done and he did amazing work. I used to wear my hair around my face to try and hide my nose. Just having confidence to pull my hair back and feel great about my profile meant so much to me. Last year, June 2021 I went to him for a breast lift. I am 60 years young, have three adult children and nursed all three of my babies for at least ten months each. Needless to say that made my breasts sag and I was just not happy with them at all. Dr Taven was again very professional. He listened to me and knew immediately what I wanted. He did amazing!! I had a breast lift with moderate implants and I have never felt so confident. I will recommend him to everyone. Dr Taven and his staff are fantastic.

Dr. Campbell is truly wonderful. Her office is calming and supportive, and you feel like you are seeing a friend. She is skilled with a variety of lasers and treatments, and I recommend her to anyone looking to improve their skin!

Dr. Campbell is an excellent and knowledgeable dermatologist and I am extremely pleased with my experience at her office. She was empathetic, provided autonomy on what I needed as a patient while also providing expert advice on the best approach, and delivered excellent results. I have been to other dermatologists and what makes her unique is that she provides a comprehensive patient care as opposed to just treating skin problems. She was caring, present, and listened carefully. You can tell that she really cares about patient experience from all the details that have been put into her practice, including the gorgeous office space, helpful front desk staff, extra steps to protect patient privacy, and ease of online bookings, just to name a few. I am so glad I found her practice and will be referring all my friends and family members to go see her!

Dr. Campbell is an amazing doctor! I took my boyfriend to have her look at some odd and questionable skin spots. She is extremely knowledgeable and kind. She knew how to ease his mind and explained all of his options. He was super nervous and really needed that hand holding, and she was very reassuring!

I have been seeing Dr Campbell for nearly four years and I can't recommend her enough!I first visited her as I hadn't seen a dermatologist in several years and wasn't happy with the redness tone and texture of my skin. Little did I know, I have rosacea! She quickly diagnosed me, helped me revamp my daily skincare routine with rosacea-appropriate products, and recommended a series of Vbeam treatments as well as regular updates. It was a game changer! I can't believe I waited so long to fix my skin!!Since then, she's been a steady and reliable partner as I've dipped my toes into anti-aging treatments. Dr Caren always listens carefully to my concerns and makes recommendations in-line with my comfort level. She is direct and no nonsense, but kind and respectful. After four years together, I fully trust her knowledge, perspective and recommendations! She is a gem!

This "boutique" office is poorly run. Do not expect any kind of follow up from Caren or her staff. They are non-responsive, late to consults, will keep you waiting after your treatment time. Caren is too busy seeking clout on social media to provide responsible care.

LITIGATION PENDING AND UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE MEDICAL BOARD OF CALIFORNIA FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE AND DISCRIMINATION. DONT EXPECT POST-TREATMENT CARE. On February 15, 2022. I received Fraxel Laser Treatment from Dr. Campbell. Following my treatment, Dr. Campbell's office advised that they would check in 2 days post-treatment and did not follow through. I was experiencing redness, inflammation and swelling, so I emailed Dr. Campbell's office on Days 2 and 7. Given the rare but known side-effects, I wanted to ensure that I was healing normally. In response, I was informed in person and in writing by Dr. Campbell that she will no longer be treating me, as her office did not have the "administrative bandwidth" to handle post-treatment concerns. This is baffling as her post-treatment instructions encourage patients to reach out should any questions arise. Given the aforementioned facts, the Doctor's refusal of services on the grounds of my correspondence/administrative burden is wholly baseless. At best, Dr. Campbell's unsubstantiated dismissal is flagrant negligence, at worst, it is discrimination based on race and sexual orientation. Regardless of the reasons, this unprofessionalism is unbecoming of a licensed, board certified healthcare provider.On top of the discriminatory practices, this practice attempted to withhold medical records and attempted to charge $200 to discuss post-treatment concerns, in addition to the $200 that was billed for the initial consultation and $1,400 for Fraxel treatment.

Dr. Campbell is skilled, knowledgeable, and kind. She exceeded my expectations, and I give her my highest recommendation.

Dr. Campbell is a miracle worker! I came to her with a super unusual case of severe stretch marks on my breasts after having breast augmentation surgery. Stretch marks are notoriously difficult to treat, but we eventually found that a Fraxel treatment was yielding results. After only 5 or 6 treatments my stretch marks are completely gone! You would never even know that they were there. The results are beyond what I could have imagined and I'm so happy that I finally get to show off my new boobies! On top of the miraculous treatment, this office is clean, the staff is kind and helpful and everything is always running on time. Dr. Campbell is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything to you before you decide on a treatment. I can't recommend her enough!
