DR Surles is one of the best Drs I have had the privilege of being his patient. He is very thorough and takes the time to listen to my concerns and explains my health issues with in depth precision. If I need a procedure, he is super meticulous in his explanation of what to expect. He will even draw it out on paper for us visual types. There is not a better GI DR with in 300 miles or more! Would recommend him to anyone, including my family.

Terrible doctor. Totally ignored the symptoms and problem that I was having and just pushed the "you need endoscopy/colonoscopy due to your age". Did not even test for h pylori which would indicate an ulcer. Would never go back or recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Surles' use of guilt to convince people to have surgery for a family member is not professional. We scheduled the procedure, but cancelled after other docs said the surgery was entirely unnecessary. The office staff lack of organization is scary. One called days after we cancelled. She was very confused about the reason for her call, trying to schedule a colonoscopy no one had mentioned to us. Then she said to take the patient off meds another doc had prescribed, but couldn't say why.
