I had been to three dermatologist and he was the only one who could help me.

Excellent Doc. I have had an inherited skin condition for decades. Every time I see a new derm, they ask ME what it is. Dr. Safley, however, knew immediately when he saw it. And he never acts like he's scrambling to get to the next patient.

I have taken my dad to see Dr. Safley on 3 occasions for non-healing wounds and for melanoma removals. And when I say "see Dr. Safley", I mean we actually do see him, which has been rare for me personally to be seen by the doctor (at other derms) instead of a PA. We found him to be knowledgeable and personable, yet still down-to-business and professional. We also think the staff is friendly but professional and efficient. They're very close to us and in a house, so the waiting room is cozy and there are no other docs so it's not like the huge practices where everyone is part of a crowd of people waiting 45 min- an hour to be seen for 2 minutes.

Ive been going to for years. He is the best. He nos about skin care better i think any one n his profession. Its him or nobody.he cleared a rash on my body that 10 0ther doctors. If u have a skin problem i quarantined Go to him and he will make well. Jessie james

Husband will no longer use Dr. Safley. He has been a patient for 5 years and went a couple of weeks ago and the man wouldn't even refill his RX for a creme he had prescribed over a year ago! He wouldn't give him anything for a rash he had developed on his back. He is too old to be practicing and needs to retire. Beware if you go here! Very poor services!!😳

I believe as far as old school textbook goes he is on point. I feel like if there is a strange occurrence happening I would seek a more progressive think out-of-the-box dermatologist. He’s very to the point and his bed side manner is a little harsh however he seems to be a very busy man and he usually does follow up in a softer manner. I think that he is a great dermatologist to some- usually gets a one or five star rating, however in my case I am not having any luck and I’m scarring all over my body I am being accused of things I’m not doing and I just want some answers so I can treat or eliminate the source of this problem. Unfortunately it’s going to take another month to get to another dermatologist. No referal given. Just a number. Skin is on fire and scarring I’m not getting any answers and I’m told that I am self inflicting or picking it myself. My symptoms are the same every time. Self-confidence is being broken down along with my skin cells... I’m too young for my skin to be thinning and darkening. This is debilitating and I believe that with a little bit more work it could be an easily solved problem. I will say I got into see him without much notice. The staff seems friendly.

Horrible bedside manner. I left in tears. After having a rash for 4 months And going to my general practitioner twice I decided to see a specialist. Not only did he not listen to me trying to explain what all I had tried and what creams I had been prescribed, he literally shushed me and told me to look at him and listen to him.How demeaning! So after my $50 copay and leaving in tears I get home to realize that he prescribed the exact same cream I already have been using that hasn't worked!!Update :2 days later I called the office to complain. He personally apologized and refunded my copay, now atleast I can go elsewhere

Dr. Safley has been my dermatologist since 2002 and I have been very happy with all my treatments. I suffer from extreme skin cancer and Dr. Safley has been helpful with referrals to other doctors to continue my treatment.He is professional, caring and always makes time to answer questions. His staff are also caring and treat everyone in their own special way.
