List of Charles R. Arkin's Reviews
I've been seeing Dr. Arkin for 10 or 15 years, and for the last 6 years since moving to Texas! I love Dr. Arkin! He is very personable and patient with all of the many ups and downs I have had through the years from Fibromyalgia to bursitis, arthritis, and other conditions related to aging. I don't mind the 8 hour drive to see him every 4-6 months.
I really liked Dr Arkin. He was patient. Listened to questions that I had and my husband had. Took x-rays and showed us x-ray results. Explained them to us Made us feel like I finally have the right doctor
Dr Arkin is thorough and professional as well as nice. The receptionists are nice but almost 4 hours is ridiculous! The lady that does scheduling for him is extremely rude and condescending and told me to expect 3 hours every visit! An hour is lengthy but expected for a specialists but 3 hours every visit is poor office management!
Dr Arkin is is an amazing Rheumatologist although he may be old school as others describe him I can assure you he is One if not the Top Dr"s in his field in my area and has done wonders in treating my wife as well as my self and I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone needing an expert in his field
Dr Arkin took the time needed to hear all of my issues and did not rush me.
Very nice and kind man, yet was surprised he was not at all up-to-date with the current science on Epstein Barr Virus, Lyme, and co-infections implicated and involved in Chronic Fatigue issues. Everything was dismissed and boiled down to the catch all Fibromyalgia. This is very old school thinking, as there are mountains of current peer-reviewed research available regarding EBV, Lyme, co-infections, and the systemic roles they play. Very disappointed I spent money that could have been put to better use.
I think that it is sad that a physician is not willing to see a patient because they do not have insurance. I am willing to pay out of my pocket to save my husband's life. But all they care about is insurance and if they are willing to let people suffer and die to do things their way I feel that their medical license should be revoked and the office shut down.
Ppl are rude as heck at this office. The reception ppl are sweet. Dr Arkin, Tammy and Tiffany were amazing tho. I think the older nurse for Dr. Arkin and the lady with glasses in the lab must really hate their job. You know I'm just going to pray for them. Big shout out to Tiffany for being so sweet. Tammy went out of her way to help out with my grandson while I was there too.
Dr. Arkin is kind and patient, listened closely and did a thorough, lengthy exam. He was polite, friendly and treated me with respect. I did not feel at all rushed and in fact was in the office for almost four hours- through his lunch time. Though I was there with inflammatory symptoms, he checked osteo health as well - calling my GP for added information to be faxed. I feel fortunate to have been referred to him.
I've been a patient of Dr. Ark in for 30+ years. He is the best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
