David A Gubin Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient for 8 years and this is my first review. I can’t say enough nice things about Dr Gubin. He is no nonsense yet very compassionate. He has always spent extra time answering my questions. I can’t recommend him enough.

If there was an option for 0 stars, that’s what I’d choose. Has a bad disposition. Doesn’t care about patients needs. Only looking out for how he can get more money out of them. He preforms test that’s not necessary. Doesn’t stand behind his work. And for God’s sake. Don’t ask him any questions. He’ll jump down your throat. He’s the worst doctor I’ve ever seen.

Dr. Gubin recently saw our daughter for a urology issue and he and his nurses (Kay & Ashley) were very responsive and so helpful from start to finish. Our daughter had just transitioned from pediatric to adult care so this was unchartered territory for her. Dr Gubin took his time to explain to our daughter what needed to take place and why. He was very thorough and ensured she understood the plan. The procedure went very well and Dr Gubin’s office even followed up during the July 4th holiday to ensure the recovery was going as expected. We saw Dr Gubin today for our follow-up visit and he was (once again) very helpful in discussing the progress since the date of the procedure as well as future expectations and resolutions. We can’t thank Dr Gubin, Kay & Ashley enough. They are a class act!

Excellent service with Dr. G! He identified and had recommendations for my Health challenge immediately. The crew of nurses are professional at every station within the office. That is comforting. Recently, I received online an Outstanding free informational video , personally orated by Dr. G. on multiple options addressing my health challenges. I shared it with select friends and family who were astonished at the treatments available. Dr G. picked up a few extra patients due to the Professionalism and content the Informational video provided. Wait time was less than 10 minutes due to the electronic check-in availability. Upon arriving to the office zero paperwork was required due to this service. Very efficient! Thank you Dr. G. and nurse team! I will be back.

Dr. Gubin was a true pleasure to work with. His staff is super friendly and accommodating and it took no more than two minutes in the waiting room before I was seen. I felt extremely comfortable speaking to him regarding my issue and he was sure to explain the cause and treatment options. I was out of the office after roughly 30 minutes and had an rx shortly after. Would HIGHLY recommend to others in the Memphis area.

Dr. Gubin saw our father, as a new patient, immediately after his return from a hospital stay in Gulfport, MS. We were sent home with a catheter and unsure of what needed to be done next. Dr. Gubin was VERY thorough. Scoped our father, in his office, that day. Then scheduled a more thorough scope for a f/up (we didn't make this due to my father going into hospice). A few weeks after seeing Dr. Gubin, our dad was admitted to hospice. Dr. Gubin and his staff (Nurse Kay) have been nothing short of extremely helpful! Answering questions and concerns of continued bladder issues, all while in hospice. We have been blessed to have such amazing care and concern as we navigate our fathers hospice stay and still have a Dr to answer questions and concerns. Love Dr. Gubin and his staff!

I have been seeing Dr Gubin for a few years, primarily for UTI's. I had a previous history of kidney stones, so Dr Gubin had me coming in every 6 months. On one of my visits, Dr Gubin requested a same day CatScan due to another UTI and possible kidney stone(s). In my mind, I did not think the CatScan was necessary. I was WRONG! That CatScan saved my life. It detected a very, very rare ovarian cancer, in its early stages, that could have wreaked havoc on my body. I am FOREVER GRATEFUL for Dr Gubin & his nurse, Kay!!! I can never, ever repay Dr Gubin for what he did for me! I am thankful I agreed to the CatScan. And I thank Dr Gubin and Kay at every appointment as I still see them regularly along w/ a few of my family members!

Dr. Gubin is quick but he answered every question I had!! He got to the point, which is very helpful. He has a great nurse Practioner, Melanie Henry. They both love their jobs and it shows! He has been the best I’ve seen.

Dr. Gubin is a great a doctor who is very passionate and skilled at what he does. I would recommend him any day. He is very straight forward and goes into great detail explaining any questions you ask. Highly recommend him and his team.

Dr. Gubin and his staff his phenomenal, you could not ask for a better accommodating doctor.
