Dr. Bittenbinder performed emergency, life-saving surgery on me on 6-19–22 at BMH Walnut Grove. I was in acute pain from volvulus which is a twisted colon. He had to remove about 1/4 to 1/3 of my colon because the tissue was dead & causing severe inflammation, a potentially lethal condition if not immediately removed. He also removed my gall bladder. I spent a week in the hospital and met Dr. Bittenbinder the first morning after an eventful night in the emergency room. The entire week he was courteous, extremely willing to answer questions, and very approachable. In addition to that, his knowledge of the various topics we discussed concerning my condition seemed second to none. Definitely a 5/5 star review and am lucky to have been one of his patients.
