Highly skilled surgeon and would recommend him to anyone with this need. I had recent surgery and he and his staff were exceptional. Very professional and caring. If you get referred to him, know that you are in good hands and will get the best care available anywhere.

My wife and I really liked Dr. Tejeda, who was recommended highly by a friend. He takes his time. He's good at keeping sleep-deprived new parents calm. Always seems to have data to back up the answer to any question you might have. Goes without saying he's good with kiddos. Bummed we had to find someone new when we moved away.

The best Dr. I’ve had, very thorough and detailed not to mention considerate and compassionate of your pain and any fears that you may have. I recommend him totally.

Excellent doctor. Very calm, patient, intelligent -- everything you want in a children's doctor. His team is great, too. Four staff members went above and beyond to help my 7-year-old get his blood taken recently even though he was very afraid of the needle. They were very kind about it when I was feeling bad about his squirming and screaming. In the end, it all worked out, thanks to them. Very nice team of people at the office all around.

Great pediatrician! Doesn't freak us out like the one we had before him. Wait times are great at the office.

We recently started bring our newborn to Dr. Tejeda and we're so glad we chose him to be our child's pediatrician! Dr. Tejeda is gentle, kind and patient. He is ready and willing to sit with us to answer all our parenting questions.

I'm truly heart broken knowing that doctor david Tejeda won't be able to take my insurance any more, (sf health plan)we have been with him for 7 years and he is a great doctor to my daughter. Hope one day we will be able to come back. He is the BEST Doctor. We will miss him

Dr. David Tajeda's clinic is very stringent and thoughtless. They're rude and inflexible. Dr. David Tajeda is very inflexible with timing. We had a very bad experience when we took our newborn there. We reached 10 mins late and the doctor refused to take us. The front desk woman was so rude to us as well. They told us a replacement doctor would take us immediately so we waited while our baby was crying away. They made us wait 1 hour 15 mins before they finally took us. Needless to say given that the clinic is in San Francisco there is always construction outside his clinic so parking is a nightmare. Besides being a pediatric clinic they are expected to have a 5-10 mins buffer at the least so accommodate.The lady at the reception (named Chanel) was stupid and unreasonable. He asked her what's the policy here and how many minutes late are we allowed to an appointment. She said 15 mins. When I told her I was late only by 10, she gave me a completely different response. And ignored my question. We asked to speak to the office manager who called us back after a week and was least bothered about addressing our concerns. Overall worst clinic and I would never take my baby to such a place where they are so inflexible and rude.

We love Dr. Tejeda!He is what we call a "chill" pediatrician. He's a great balance for me; if I'm worried about something, his approach is generally "Your baby is growing well and is happy, so things are fine!" He doesn't want you to be overly concerned about things when there isn't definitive evidence that something is harmful for your baby. I always come out of appointments with him feeling more relaxed about all things baby-related. Of course, he will push for a few things, and when he does, that's when I know it really is important. He speaks in terms of studies and evidence, so you know he keeps up with the literature and his approach is objective. I fill out Sutter's questionnaire on the Sutter app before each appointment, including a section that asks if you have any questions for you doctor. He always comes having read my questions in advance, ready with his answers.Thank you for being a steady source of support for our family!

Dr Tejeda been our pediatrician from birth to 1 year until we had to move away unfortunately. I loved Dr Tejeda's office! We are very anxious parents and we always found support when needed. There's an advice RN available both during and after hours, they always call back. Sometimes if I call during the hours to speak to an advice nurse, Dr Tejeda himself (or Dr Casas on his behalf) calls back.Dr Tejeda is always calm, collected, addresses all our issues and questions. His bases his practices on evidence. If you are into alternative medicine he doesn't really follow that topic.I will miss that office dearly. There was almost never a wait in the waiting room, the office is small and makes it feel more personal. The building is new and it feels good. Only suggestion would be to add some toys or fix existing ones (the table with a magnet has magnet missing), because kids don't like to be waiting, especially if they remember they get poked here.
