Today I went to my appointment at 8:00 a.m. with Dr. Damidi at Baptist Primary Care Clinic in Atlantic Beach. I made the appt. weeks ago. Friday before that appt. they told me that the Dr. was going to be sick on Monday. They rescheduled me for today, a week and a day later at 8:00 a.m. but told me to be there at 7:45. They called me last night at 3:30 and said something about an established patient and that I wasn’t. The clerk said it was because as a new patient I needed a 30-minute appt. and I was scheduled for a 15-minute appt. She asked the doctor who said I could keep the 15-minute appt. I had filled out two different sets of paperwork. one for the first appointment and another for today. I showed up at 7:45 today as directed. The door was locked and not opened until 8:00. Once in they refused to see me. Insurance technicality. No apology, no effort to reschedule or resolve the problem. 3 contacts and nothing about this, until I am there in person. No help, no concern. Awful.
