My sister and I both have been going to Dr. Atkins for years. In my opinion you will not find a more compassionate, caring doctor. And above all she really takes the time to listen to you. You are a person to Dr. Atkins, not just another number. I feel so blessed to have found her.

Dr.Derene Akins is an excellent doctor. My sister and I both have been seeing her for years. I will be heartbroken when she retires. She treats you with upmost respect and is very compassionate. She never makes you feel rushed. When she is in the room with you, her attention is a 100% on you. I wanted to do a 5 star rating, but my phone only showed 4. Best doctor I have ever had.

Very caring and listens to concerns without seeming to be pressed to go on to next patient. If she doesn't know the answer she takes the time to research and gives an explanation in a manner that is easily understood by the patient. Very thorough.
