List of Dr Bola Adamolekun's Reviews
Overall he is an okay neurologist although he doesn’t spend much time with his patients. Even worse he leaves frequently on vacations with very little notice. He will just cancel all of his appointments with only a week of notice and go on vacations. His own receptionists confirmed this that he does this all the time with hardly any notice even when you have been waiting months to get in to see him. I had to change neurologists because I need someone more reliable than that.
I'm the sister of a patient. I transport her to her doctor's appointments. We've left 7 messages with the people who answers the phone at this clinic. I needed someone to return my call on the well-beings of my sister's health. Obvious her health is not important to this Doctors of this clinic. My sister was hospitalized on Tuesday 6/7 because she experienced 2 seizures at her house. We had to call 911. The doctor at the St. Francis informed her that the test results came back low sodium. They kept her for 2 days to make sure her sodium level was built up. The doctor at the hospital took her off of the seizure medicine that she was on because they thought that it was causing her sodium to drop. The reason for my calls was to inform Dr. Bola of this matter, since he was the one in charge of treating her an assigning her medications for seizures. This put her a a terrible disadvantage since she is diagnosed and treated for seizures by Dr. Bola. No one has called us neither Dr. Bola or his nurse. It has been six days without this medicine. It seems that he doesn't care at all if she has another seizure. if he doesn't want to continue treating her please let us know, so we can find another doctor who cares, before she has another seizure. She is unprotected without all of her medications that she needs. We just do not know what to do! Can someone please get in touch with us ASAP! A CONCERN RELATIVE
He took my son off seizure meds and put him on different meds we had lots of problems with mew meds Nurse or dr would not respond replay was he was not in office it took over a week to get blood levels back went to primary got back in one day to find out his levels were so high he was toxic. Still no replay from Dr Bola worst neurologist I have ever seen and my son is 30 years old and has seizures since he was 3 never had a neurologist or office nurse not to respond to their patient. Would NOT recommend this doctor!!!
Just met with Dr Amdamolekun today. He was efficient, good questions and got to what was needed.
The Caucasian receptionist was letting other patients go ahead of me. She let over five patients that appointments were after mine, she let them go first. And the other patients noticed it too! And Dr. Bola is a good doctor, but he must learn to sit down with his patients and not stand up away from them.
excellent neurologist..takes excellent care of my son
Exceptional followed Dr from Jackson to to Memphis
Dr. Bola is wonderful! He took very good care of my elderly parents and was extremely patient with them. He is very thorough in explaining his diagnosis and treatments. He recently moved his office back to Memphis from Jackson and I am so sad that he is gone. If my parents could stand the longer trip, we would continue to see him in Memphis. I highly recommend him!!
To diagnose epilepsy is very hard. Dr. Bola is the best epileptologist to see.
The reason I am writing this doctor is he gives you respect and we work together in helping or curing me; and he knows all brain issues backward and forwards. I know because I had a Vestibular Schwannoma or Acoustic Neuroma. Out of 40 or so (I quit counting). I would rate him either first or second. Having said all of that; you want go wrong in making an apointment with him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
