Best surgeon in town. Great professionalism coupled with a wonderful sense of care and empathy. Indicative of his skill was that after the operation i did not need any pain medication. Wonderful team !!

I recently underwent a major lung surgical operation conducted by Dr. Todd Robbins and his outstanding team at Baptist East Hospital. In every area that includes both the medicine and bedside manner their performance was nothing short of superlative. Noteworthy, i am an old man and in spite of that fact i never once had to use pain medicine which is indicative of the precision and care he provided. NONE BETTER !!

Dr. Robbins did lung surgery on me, I found him to be a very competent surgeon, Would recommend him highly.

He removed part of my lung due to cancer but I wasn't prepared for problems 2 + years later. After surgery I complained of terrible rib pain. Finally I went to him in Feb after my surgery in Nov asking for relief. He gave me a lecture on "tough love". To this day I cannot wear anything restrictive around my ribs, which is difficult with ladies under garments. I've asked several doctors what could've created this problem and understandably none want to answer other than to say my body could've been put in a position during the surgery that MIGHT have caused the problem. I've since been diagnosed with osteoporosis which seems to me that is something that should've been determined prior to the surgery. I wouldn't use him again.

Made me feel positive before and after Man of few words with knowledge beyond his time. Great Doctor the kind of man you could have a beer with and go fishing.

He came. He saw. He fixed. I am extremely pleased.

The appointment was fairly easy, having a referral from an ocologist, review of patient personal history was absolutely NONE, which left little room for an accurate diagnosis. If and when you could get past his grandiouse nurse, and acctually see Dr. Robbins, himself, he had a very professional and cordial bedside manner. The amount of time actually spent with me was minimal, leaving most of that to his self appointed Dr. Nurse Sam. The surgery went very well and how was expected. Surgery technique was very adequate in resolving the problem. Upon discharge, once again, I seemed to be released from Dr. Nurse Sam's care, and given post op instruction, discharged pain medication and return appointment date. Before being home for one week, I had exhausted the medication I was sent home with and still experiencing extreme pain. After contacting the office for more medication, Dr. Nurse Sam changed the medication, having been told that medication did not work well for me. Now, it is the day following this action, that once again I woke in tears, with no adequate medication for the relief for my pain. I feel if I was beeing treat by the actual physician, not a RN, filling in for a physcian that does not seem to have the time to hear his patients, I might have recieved the medication needed to make a smooth recovery from a very intensive surgery procedure.
