Fred King's Online Review Report Card

Dr King is my doctor and my sons doctor. He is always very kind, empathetic and patient and listens thoroughly. On several occasions he has followed up after appointments to see how we’re doing. We are happy to have found him!

He seems to understand all of the issues. I trust him with my life.

Dr. King is my families physician. He’s been a good Dr to us for the last 6 years or so. When I was pregnant with our son he was my primary doctor for the first part of my pregnancy and was helpful and knowledgeable. Afterwards he referred me to a family physician who would deliver my son. Once I gave birth Dr King took over my care and listened to any concerns I had. Of course, being a first time parent there’s a huge learning curve, and a lot of recovery. Dr King helped with physical or mental health issues I may have experienced as a first time Mom. He referred me to nurse with VFHT who specialized as a lactation consultant to help with my breastfeeding concerns. Now Dr King is my sons physician and he’s been great. VFHT uses WellX which I have found really handy. As a first time parent I often reach out to consult on symptoms my son has demonstrated and Dr King always promptly responds.

Excellent GP...... I trust him with my life...... good location

Dr. King has been my GP for about 5 years. He's patient, kind and very thorough. I have a severe mental health disorder and Dr. King has quite literally saved my life twice. That's not an exaggeration or an expression. I would be dead if it were not for his support. There are not words for the admiration that one has for someone that has saved you from death. He treats me with respect and includes me in the decision making process about my medications and treatments. For the other reviews that have provided a low rating, I cannot help but wonder if there are two doctors with the same name in the Toronto area? They do not describe this man at all. You can judge from the quality of writing in those reviews that perhaps Dr. King was not the problem at all. Finding the right Doctor is a bit like dating, it is not one-sided.

Dr. King has been our family doctor for over 5 years. We have recently had a very tough time and he has far exceeded my expectations in his care for our family, his follow up, recommendations and treatments, reaching out for additional resources, referrals for more help, persoanlly calling with updates, and more. He is very stable when situations are emotional, and sincerely empathetic in difficult times. We, as a family, are feeling tested right now, it's comforting to have him on our side.

I have been a patient of Doctor Kings for over 4 years and he has looked after me very well. He is very polite and well mannered. I went through a very difficult time in my life and I was happy Dr. King was there for me.

I have read all the reviews about Dr. King and I disagree with those who give a negative rating. I have been a patient since he moved to Toronto. He takes his time, asks lots of questions, even calling me at home. I see for his knowledge and respect it. I find him very honest and it's easy to open up to him. Regarding the negative reviews, I would say 'Have you ever been reviewed in your job?' I would recommend Dr. King. He is kind soul.

I'm honoured to have Dr. King as my family doctor. I've had him for almost five years and travel far to see him and keep him as my doctor. He's always been mild-mannered, professional and knowledgable. I honestly could not believe the negative reviews as he's the most genuine and nicest doctor I've ever met. The guy spent 15 years serving an underserved area of New York and takes the time to talk to you and ask you about your life.
