Belittles the patient. She wants you to know how smart she is.

I have to laugh at all the negative comments by these patients. Face it most of you out there will all have back pain of some sort as you age. Most of you are lazy, fat and have many other health issues and your back pain is not the issue you need to be consumed with. Dr Gina Walton tells you honestly what you need to hear that no one else has the guts to tell you. You all want to be babied, drugged and or have unnecessary surgery .. How about try getting off your lazy butts do the therapy, swim, lose weight and take better care of yourself instead of wasting a good doctors time with wining and needing someone to keep lying to you just for their financial gain. Sometimes there is no reason that can be found in X-rays or MRI's Because you just are old or have already had 3 or 4 surgeries. Sorry but thats the pain you will have to deal with. Nothing is perfect. But learning truth, tolerance and exercising, healthy eating and lifestyle will help most of you. If you truly need surgery she will be sure you get it. Last resort treatment. If non narcotic medication will help she will prescribe it.. Therapies work wonders she will send you BUT you have to go>> Disability is not an option either. You can still answer a phone right? Type on a computer right? That is obvious. So there is a job for you after all . Just ask yourself before you post such negative comments. What have you done lately to help yourself????? I am an actual pt of Dr Gina Walton and she helped me tremendously, as I also help and take care of myself. No drugs, no surgery.. People really? Such haters

I have been seeing Dr. Walton for about 1 year and in that time she has helped me control my neck and low back pain with injections. These are both areas that I have had surgery on. I also have DDD and fibromyalgia, so I'm happy to find that this less invasive type of treatment has been helpful. Dr. Walton has been open and friendly and I'm very sorry to see her leave for the VA.

What a joke! She was arrogant, conceded, condescending, and she talked at you not to you. She thinks she is too good to wear a white coat or name tag to cover up her attired she spend so much money on. She doesn't believe sever degenerative disk disease causes pain. When she opens the door it's like the clock is ticking down the 15min. I sadly wasted money I don't have on three visits thinking it would change. Her bedside manor is non existent. As a black female myself I was very disappointed in her.

I should have read reviews before making an appt with this doctor. Having had an appt I have to voice the same dissatisfaction with this doctor. My visit didn't even include any type of of screenings. How can you tell a person with back issues there isn't anything to worry about without even taking an x-ray. I was told I 'should count my blessings because I can get up and move around everyday'. NO JOKE doctor. What a mistake it was going to this doctor......who by the way is seeing new patients knowing she is going to the VA hospital in a month. Feel bad for whoever has to see here there. Oh...did I mention the 2 ladies up front did nothing but complain about the manager while I waited to get checked in. It was a bad experience from the beginning.

we drove 900 miles just to hear her tell us we were 24 minute late she told us we were free to go I was shock we had got in to a traffic jam what ran us a little late she is really hot headed I wouldn't take a dog to her it maybe because am white . she show no respect. I been to a lot of doctor in my life but Gena Walton take the cake.

Words are incapable of expressing the gratitude I feel toward Dr. Walton.I visited her after being referred by my PCP for neck pain. I was on scheduled opioids, preparing myself for surgery, and severely depressed over what I felt I was becoming. Luckily, Dr. Walton did see a better option for me. She spent time encouraging me about the power that I had over my circumstance.She took me off of narcotics, referred me for physical therapy, and talked to me changes I needed to make in order to avoid future regret.Honestly, I left her office feeling frustrated, but I knew she was 100% right. The best solution for me was not going to be easy, and I had to do the work.That was roughly a year and an half ago and I am where I am today because of that day.I have lost 85 lbs by eating right and exercising-which I have never done before.I am emotionally, physically, and spiritually stronger than I have ever been.If patients are willing to fight for themselves, Dr. Walton will be there to help.

She was arrogant and condescending from hello and it never changed throughout the consultation. She was the rudest person I have ever met! By the way, my husband who happened to be the patient, and I drove 3 hours for specialty advice and we did not even get close...WASTED TRIP! He has had 3 back surgeries, is 39 years old, never taken pain medications, works a full-time job and will be completing a Master's degree next semester! I am a Master's level Occupational Therapist. We are not idiots but were treated like we were just a waste of her time when in actuality, she was the biggest waste of ours! Very sorry representative of the Vanderbilt Spine Center! Her answer was more medications and additional injections which my husband told her repeatedly did not work for him longer than a week.

Dr Walton does not know what she is doing. Seriously, go anywhere else.

She is only interested in billing for her 15 minute sessions and not listening to patients or analyzing the testing. She is the most condescending, uncaring physician I have ever met. She explained that if I actually wanted to discuss things with her about my healthcare, I would have to make a separate appointment because my referring physician had only booked a 15 minute time slot.
