Horrible - don’t waste your time with this arrogant, rude physician.

Dr. Potera and his staff paid attention to my health issues, they didn't make me feel rushed and they made me feel like they really cared. After a thorough exam Dr. Portera explained what he wanted to do to start my road to a pain free life. He understood how to treat Interstitial Cystitis (not that many doctors do), as well as frequent UTIs and other female uro/gyn issues. I was seen promptly and there was no 3 hour wait like I had at my previous Uro doctor (who didn't treat the real problem anyway). THANK you Dr. Portera and staff. I actually cried when I left because someone paid attention and was working toward a cure - or at least relief.

I had my surgery on April 19th. I have fully recovered This surgery has made my life so much better. I was so embarrassed when I had my first visit as this is a very intimate problem. My surgery was successful This has been a very positive experience for me.

Well!! I wish I could have a great review like the ones I read . But, I can’t. When I visited his office, his staff was very nice but when it came time for me to meet Dr. Portera, I expected for him to kind and understanding of me first time getting this particular procedure done. Instead he rushed me and slammed the door when I wasn’t ready when he was. That to me showed that he was impatient with little compassion about how I felt. Dealing with doctors I understand their time is precious, but being treated like Im just a waste of time is hurtful. Then to find out I can’t get my co-pay back after not getting anything done is upsetting..
