It was weird, I called and asked if the practice had any openings for new patients and the phone operator said "I can't tell you." That was the end of the interaction, apparently, normally if a place is booked they say they aren't accepting new patients, or if they don't know they'll suggest either booking an appointment or calling a different number. I've never had an interaction like this. "Hi, I was wondering if this practice is accepting new patients?" "I can't tell you." "......Alright, thank you, goodbye." Odd.

I have been a patient of Dr. Potera for many years, and my mother before me. We have always gotten the best care.

I’ve had the honor to see Dr. Portera work in surgery for years. He takes just as much care & precision of his patients asleep just like he does when they’re in his office for a visit. He has a passion to heal and mend all of his patients ailments. I would recommend him to anyone in this world.

I usually don’t have to wait long to see Dr. Portera. The reception and nurses are friendly and helpful. My one big complaint is that he does not take my insurance. I’m self-pay and the cost of a visit has gone up.

I cannot say enough good things about my visit to CUPD, Dr. Portera, and his staff. Every one was so friendly and very informative. Dr. Portera was very professional and kind. He explained every step of the way as to what he was doing or going to do, and kept me at ease the entire time. I would definitely recommend him.
