Hafiz A Elahi Md's Online Review Report Card

Wesley Neurology Clinic has an exceptional Doctor by the name of Hafiz Elahi. I would recommend him to everyone needing treatment. Dr. Elahi is a very caring and compassionate doctor. I felt as if I was treated like family. His nurse Kim goes above and beyond to make sure that I get proper care.

Very caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable Doctor that takes good care of his patients. I am typically in and out for an appointment. Highly recommend.

Wish I never would have took my mother there. His reports on her social and personal history statements are very false. She 78 with Alzheimers/ Dementia. His comments are that she smokes, findings to drug and alcohol misuse. Living independently and attending school. I'm thinking this is why I can't get the help she needs and deserves. Had a cognitive assessment and evaluation done from a different source. She has to have 24/7 care. Hoping some how to find some help. Will not take her back in there.

After two years of going to Dr. Elahi I asked for my records and left. There was not one appointment that I had with him that was punctual. The shortest wait I had was one hour and I waited as long as four hours from my appointment time. Then when I did see him, he asked a couple of questions , and told me to keep taking the same medications that I had been. The four prescriptions that he had me taking were not helping me but he knows more than I do. Take a lot of reading material when you visit

Absolutely awful bedside manner. Suggested devastating diagnoses & concerning MRI findings nonchalantly and then walked out. No concept that patients have feelings or might be upset by a life-altering diagnosis. Didn't have his act together, so tests didn't get ordered in a timely manner, then lied that he had "decided not to run the tests" after his nurse told me (I called after agonizing over the results for >2 weeks) that tests couldn't be run b/c they weren't ordered in a timely manner.AVOID

He spent a very long amount of time with me on my first visit and ran every test possible...on top of that, he was very kind and has a great personality.

My mom had a massive stoke. One day walking, talking, laughing , smiling just being SELF sufficient than BOOM all that was gone . the mom we knew was no more. Dr Elahi helped my sister and I to understand the entire process as to what happened and what to expect going forward

My mother, was experiencing ataxia and symptoms associated with degenerative diseases. She was scared, vulnerable and running out of money. After viewing one MRI result, he came in, without running any other tests, told my mother that yes, she did indeed have Multiple Sclerosis but also had Huntington's disease, that he could prove it, that it was fatal, and walked out the door. He asked quick questions and didn't let her answer. He was gone. He spent 10 minutes with her in a 45min visit.

When I first meet Dr Elahi, I was in a very different space (health wise) but he really helped me to understand everything that was going on around me. For your patience and jokes I thank you Dr Elahi, you are a great doctor.

Dr. Elahi succeeded in making me comfortable with the surroundings as I have anxiety towards medical facilities. He was extremely personable and hilarious. However, without running any kind of tests, he misdiagnosed me with serotonin syndrome and put me on three medications that rendered me a useless vegetable. Overall, I loved his personality, but he just made a poor decision.
