List of Heather Cole's Reviews
We loved Dr. Cole
Everything went well and I have had no bad effects at all.
Heather Cole my surgeon helped me regain so much of my life after replaceing my damaged hip after being hit by a car while riding my bicycle. She was very professional and patient and her bedside manor was so comforting and confidence inspiring. I would recommend her to anyone. She's a great doctor
Dr. Cole took the time to explain the procedures and what to expect in the future. Excellent care.
Dr. Cole and staff are top notch. I had a great experience with the office staff and an even better one with Dr. Cole. She is very professional and caring. She has a great energy around her. I was very blessed to have had her as my surgeon.
Dr. Cole has been very informative and super compassionate about my injury.
Dr Cole is thorough in answering questions
Dr. Cole answered my questions before they were even asked. She had a caring demeanor and clinical expertise that was very reassuring in one of my most frightened times of my life. The phone system to make an appointment and to get advice needs major improvement. I called in 5 times to schedule my post op appointment. At the prompt, I left my name, phone number, and request for call back. I never received a call back. On the 6th time, I decided to wait until I got a person on the phone to talk with. That took 33 minutes. Then she scheduled me for an appointment 7 days after the date ordered on my discharge instructions. She told me Dr. Cole was out to the office the week I needed an appointment. Two days later, the condition of my skin under the splint was becoming a concern. So I once again called in and waited until I was speaking to a person. I waited 27 minutes to speak to someone. She then transferred me to Dr. Cole's assistant, Mariella. Mariella, listened to my concerns and moved my appointment up to the date on my discharge instructions. (Dr. Cole was NOT out of the office that week.). I was so grateful to Mariella for calming my concern and helping me!
Met the doctor briefly before surgery and again at 6 weeks after surgery. Right after the surgery I was upset about the screw that protrudes from the bone into soft tissue. I did not know why I was in so much pain until I saw the X-ray at the two week after exam. I was upset, not knowing any of the reasons behind the protruding screw. In my visit with Dr. Cole, today, she explained what happened and in addition, it no longer bothers me. I would like to suggest that in the future, the Doctor advises the patient about the operation and any problems arising with screw placement etc. this can be communicated through the PAs prior to discharge, seeing they came by several times. I know the Doctor is busy, but it would have eased my mind, and explained a lot. Even at the 2 week appointment with PA Tyler, I mentioned the pain, saw the X-ray and commented on the screw and he did not explain why it protruded. Big mistake, because I was thinking the Doctor did a bad job. Now I know she had no choice, knew why, and assured me that after I heal, if it still bothers me it can be fixed. The PAs should know how to explain and reassure patients.
She really listened to my concerns and addressed all issues.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
