Evil is real and evil is her!

Dr. Gibbs is an absolutely amazing physician. Yes, her wait times are a bit long (3-4 hours), but you won't find another physician that will go over and beyond to help you. I have been a loyal patient of hers and I will continue to stay with my doctor (even though those wait times need to get better :) )

I've been a patient of Dr. Gibbs for more than 10 years. From the beginning I was impressed with her knowledge and sharing it with me in detail so I could understand and know how to heal &/or prevent a reoccurence. I find being the last appointment I don't have to wait as long.

Dr. H. Gibbs is an excellent family medicine doctor. Very knowledgeable, patient and caring. Does spend adequate time with you to address questions, explain results. One of the LPNs, Nakaiya, has a nasty attitude, is very brash, unconcerned and does not get facts correct on several visits. Feels like u are bothering her, she doesn't listen. Nakiaya has no tact, unprofessional. Pam is great. Other staff is caring. Total wait time usually 3-4 hours!! Are good doctor's skills worth a 3 hour wait?

despite me sitting on the exam table when she entered the room she asked who the patient was. Dr. Gibbs did not address my Concerns and rushed through a physical exam and was very rough causing me a lot of pain. she did not stay in the room long enough for me to express all the reasons I was there. overall it seemed that she did not want to deal with me. wait time was about 4 hours. will never go back

I really like the friendly climate of the office. She cares about each patient and with much family to visit her practice, it feels just like home. I know she is busy and suits the practice to a large family, but feels she does an awesome job!

Until I met Dr. Peter Lindy about two years ago, Dr. Gibbs was the only doctor that I totally trusted for more than 20 years. Because she exemplifies patience, fidelity, and trustworthiness, her mission seems to be to provide the best care for all of her patients. As a result, she does not rush patients in and out; rather, she gives each one the time that he / she needs to feel better about the visit. Because of her warmth and genuine concern, her patients / clients may experience some long waits; but, it is worth the wait to deal with a doctor that one can trust. Not only that, many of her patients are quite elderly; therefore, it takes them longer to walk from the waiting area to the examination room. To be sucinct, Dr. Hettie Gibbs is the only doctor, at one time, that I would have considered going to in Memphis because of the horrible experiences that I encountered at Baptist East twice and with the doctor that I first saw when I moved to Memphis in the late 70's and early 80's, not to mention a horrific experience that I had with a Mississippi doctor. My confidence in doctors and hospitals was completely annihilated! Thanks to Dr. Gibbs, I can now see doctors to whom she refers me with a little less anxiety.

1,waited on first visit for over 3 hrs!!!!2,was told i have diabetes but everything i have understood is that i am pre diabetic!!!was gave a machine and felt like i was ran out door!!never once did i see the doctor so a nurse told me!!!i feel when being told you have diabetes would be nice to hear from the doctor!!!!3,was told they was calling me in meds thats been four days ago still no meds!have left several messages for them,also i gave them them wrong pharmissit but did call within 2 hrs of leaving to correct this.still no meds!!!thank god for internet,i will be getting a second opinion with my new doctor...i will update soon

first visit doc did not show up till 1 pm my appt was at 9am,second called to get blood rsults and the staff was very rude and toke their time getting back to me.third went in for oggt test went well they said i had diabetes seem to run me out door with a blood sugar machine not sitting and taking the time to explain to me about diabetes which i have found out most online,seems what i have read says am not a diabetic but close to pre diabetes!!!forth said they was going to call me in medicine that has been 4 days now!!!!still no medicine and left several messages for them!!!!!i did give them wrong pharmisist but called within 2 hrs of me leaving doc office!!!!!i have now going for second opinion and moving to another doctor!!!!!!!
