My card was charged and then I was refused service when it was discovered that I had been seen in Mexicali and had Mexican insurance. #VenusNguyenFNP was extremely rude and uncaring. Subsequent questions were met with reprisals. This practice made it known that I cost them money by being diagnosed elsewhere and they won't see me even on the web service. This lady absolutely hates Mexico and their doctors and patients and very publicly stated so. It seems s by far the most horrible experience of my life in any industry, let alone in the medical field. The utter hatred this woman has is palpable. I was personally treated with absolute hate, disgust and contempt. I can't even call with billing issues without being hung up on. Skip this place at all cost. This place is more evil than medical. Stay away. Really, she hates you and will tell you to your face, especially if you live in Mexico
Dr Vo is a nice dr but it's not the same since dr strong left the Ofc is cluttered. The drs. Wife is not someone who should see patients I'm afraid he'll be Losing patients if she continues working there she is very rude to his patients and is not as professional as a Dr. should be!!!!!
In my experience, the doctors and staff here all deliver efficient services with kind caring attitudes. I always make an appointment and though they sometimes run a bit behind, I've never spent more than 10 minutes waiting to be seen. I've been going here monthly for the past year and a half, and I mostly seen Dr. Strong. However, I've also seen Dr. Vo, Venus, and Alexis. All are very kind and very helpful. Additionally, while I was doing prior research on this medical group, I found that Dr. Vo is a board member and contributor to the Spread the Love Charity located in El Centro. This medical group and its doctors care about our community!
My husband and I were patients of Dr Strong for many years. We never waited more than 5 minutes in his office before seeing him. He was thorough. He made orders for blood work prior to coming in so you weren't billed for two office visits.Dr. Vo could be a good doctor if he had the time. You always wait an hour to be seen. He has you come in multiple times, needlessly, to bill you for extra office visits. He rushes you in and out without fully examining you. He redoes tests that have already been done, that day, in the hospital, so that he can bill you again for them, knowing the insurance company will not cover the duplicate test. This is more the fault of his billing staff, Carolina, than his.
I just want to write this review just to bring awareness to Doctor Vo and to Doctor Strong also and current patients. My husband went to Dr Strong sometime during 2012-2013 complaining of abdominal pain, Doctor check out my husband and send him home with a prescription of 4 ibuprofen at day during a period 3 weeks!! . He went several times after that for the same reason Dr Strong never recommend him to visit a gastro Doctor. Time passed by and my husband went again for rectal bleeding..... (2016) I just came to read reviews and I just notice that this Doctor was negligent and careless. His action and bad judgement made my husband sicker. He was rude to James too, he did not wanted to even find out why my husband was bleeding and NEVER ever suggested to see an gastro Doctor. ( it never occurred to us! Doctor are here to guide you and find what's the best care for you!) He said James was fine that probably was only hemorrhoids. But he never actually check him. I remember that he was going to this Doctor several times but he always came home saying that the Doctor said that was nothing to worry about. And we trusted him so blindly!!!! Doctor are here to serve and care for people, My husband was an amazing husband, Father and friend. I'm just so sad that this happen to him. He deserved so much better. He died of Colon cancer stage 4 this summer 2018. If you see red flags in a Doctor ( bad behavior, lack of interest etc) run! Don't walk!!
Just because you practice in the Imperial Valley doesn't mean that the low socio economic standing of our cities, doesn't deserve respect, courtesy or good manners.Dr. Vo has very poor bedside manners and even less so, it seems, respect for his patients. It's kind of like when someone shakes your hand without wanting to, they have no respect or regards for you (google, handshake meanings).Making an appointment was easy, openings were readily available and there was very little wait time prior to appointment, in waiting area. His staff alone is the only thing pleasant about the experience (thus, 2 star rating given).During my mothers appointment, he said two sentences to my mom and left her in the exam room. Perhaps he thought she didn't speak English but she's extremely fluent. After about 10 minutes in the exam room my mom had to come out and ask the receptionist if he would be returning to the exam room, because he didn't say anything other than give results (to lab work that had been done the week prior to appt) when he was in the room he stated lab results, in two sentences and walked out of the room. Was he expecting her to know that he was done with the appointment? Should she follow up? What next? Does she need medication? What do the lab results mean?Instead he could have said "Ma'am, everything thing looks great, but we can do better with this specific test result, we can help by modifying your diet and including 30 min of exercise 3-5 days a week...etc. Let's make an appt for 3-6 months for a follow up, thank you for coming in. And perhaps, do you have any questions? Again, thank you for coming in and take care or see you soon".Either way, he returned after being prompted by office staff, wiping his mouth while chewing food. That was his rush people, it was lunch time! smh.Dr. Vo, listen closely, everyone has a choice to return. Help yourself, by being polite and attentive to make your patients want to return. We won't but others might want to return after you make changes. Not everyone speaks up and maybe that's what you rely on but your business would be booming, if you took a class or two on doctor-patient etiquette. Be open to constructive criticism and I promise to have lower expectations....Actually, I can't promise this. It's because we've had better patient care elsewhere that makes yours subpar. I wish you the best.
Dr Vo is a nice dr but it's not the same since dr strong left the Ofc is cluttered. The drs. Wife is not someone who should see patients I'm afraid he'll be Losing patients she shouldn't work there she is very rude to his patients doesn't look clean and is not professional
Do not bother with this "Doctor". He rushed my son and myself in the room. I had scheduled the appointment for my son to get a physical, and the doctor just about weighed him and checked his height. He was rude to my son, didn't bother listening to him. This doctor is a joke!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
