If I can give this place a -1000/10 I would. Reported them to my insurance... I had so much patience with them even with the unprofessionalism from the front desk girl & pediatrician's "nurse"... always having a nasty attitude & disrespectful whenever a question was asked or input was given... Being a first time mom (especially) they work at a Pedestrians office & should have compassion for concerned parents. When answering the phone & wanting to put someone on hold you first greet them & proceed to tell them you will put them on hold and make sure you get a response in return like "hello that's fine!" But no she immediately puts you on hold doesn't even let you get one word in... the whole setting is just not professional. I've had many issues w both girls in which I can say get away with a lot like my last incident she didn't want to transfer me to someone in charge she thought she'd just hang up on me??? Then proceeds after I already reported her to my insurance to call me back to let me know my child is no longer a patient with them... I was 10 steps ahead of her. Even women I know take their kids their & have the same complaint on her bitter attitude.

My complaint is for little miss front staff! You all need to stop being rude and get your fax straight. My baby niece has a heart defect and needs immediate care and you all gave my cousin a run around over a fax! Please put your patients needs and care a priority. Especially during these times. Go have a team meeting and discuss communication and organization. Good day!

This review is solely for the front desk staff! The other reviews are true! They are super RUDE! I love Dr Salazar, but the admin people just aren't a reflection of her. Dr Salazar referred my 6 month old to a cardiologist and the front desk was supposed to fax the referral. In the midst of me calling the cardiologist several times in 1 day, every time they did not receive the fax. I was calling Dr Salazar's office to confirm and the staff claimed to have sent it twice in that day. So I decided to give it some time and call the cardiologist the next day, again they did not receive it and gave me the fax number to confirm with Dr. Salazar's staff. I call and the front desk person who answered immediately sounded annoyed with the call in general. She cut me off mid sentence and told me they faxed it several times and since the cardiologist didn't get it, I needed to physically come get the paperwork and take it to them myself. I let her know I was trying to remain calm and she was being very unprofessional and that I do not work for the office so the miscommunication WASN'T MY FAULT. I then asked her to verify the number they faxed to and behold, they were sending to THE WRONG NUMBER. That's also gotta be a HIPAA violation I'm assuming. She then told me if she GETS TIME she will send it. My poor baby has a heart issue and the pediatrician front desk staff gets an attitude over a FAX. Definitely switching pcp asap.

I've been coming here for many years since my first born who is now 16. I now have a 5 year old and an 8 month old. Things have changed a lot w staff here over the years. All I have to say is the front desk staff are rude as hell. They make scheduling an apt over the phone impossible! Like really? This is a pediatrician office and I have a sick baby! I can never ever get a same day or even next day apt. They answer phones and says pls hold and puts u on hold for hours, they don't even wait for u to say ok ,she just sends u to hold. She's rude in person too. Makes the whole experience horrible. From asking you for paperwork to scheduling. They need new staff. Front desk lady hates her job clearly! Retire or go work retail so u can get ur ass handed to u! I never see the actual doctor either. Only np. Which I don't mind but I need the doctor at least once in a few months. I switched my 5 year old a few months ago but decided to give them a second chance for my 8 m o. And nope not gna deal w the front desk staff any longer! Get rid of her asap! And I will be putting in a complaint!

Theresa The office manager was very rude from the second we walked in bad attitude this is a pediatrician office there's no need for that people have sick kids I would recommend you seek another doctor

Parents if your anything like me and you go on reviews to see if you want to chance going anywhere or even taking your kids anywhere please continue reading this. I have been going to this office for a very long time I was hoping I didn't have to switch, but enough is enough there's a nurse practitioner by the name Blinda she is nice yes but I've noticed through all these years she's just brushing things off and doesn't pay attention to your concerns as a parent, I've gone numerous times paid my copay for me not to get any results, I don't mind copays as long as I get some sort of results. Then for the first time in like 10years I finally saw the doc she gave me a referral to get labs done, results came back negative so my kid was good on that part but once again I had no answers to why my kid was going through what they were going through! So I told the M.A I wanted the dr to call me back because I needed answers 3 weeks pass no call I call back and it's like they never knew I wanted to talk to anyone! Finally talked to the nurse practitioner once again, I work in a drs office I know how things work, the nurse practitioner acting like she didn't even know anything, I asked WELL DONT YOU HAVE THR NOTES FROM THE APPOINTMENT? She answered back yes ok why are you asking questions I've already answered, she goes and says well I want to hear it from you. Finally she says she's gonna refer me to a specialist...FINALLY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS REALLY! No don't bother I'll be switching providers, to someone who actually cares about their patients needs and actually want to help someone out instead of collecting money! Please parents if you want to give your kids the best care and go to someone who has their best needs at heart this is not the place. Please don't wait as long as I did to look elsewhere.

Belinda and Alma are awesome but the ladies at the front desk are rude and disrespectful. They love to talk over you and make scheduling as hard as possible. So frustrated with the staff that handle the appointments...I might have to change doctors just because of how disrespectful they are.

How you gonna say you open at a time but don't put your damn phones on so people can call. Not only that. Brunette thick girl is a rude one. She works front desk. Always has an attitude like she hates her job or your inconveniencing her day. Get a new job then lady! Cause next time you give me attitude cause it's all the time I'm not playing. I'll give that shit harder back! Never will I take my son to this shit place. It's more of a place where they think your poor and treat you like that. Just cause you have medical. Hell no!

Would give zero stars if possible! This man nearly killed my father!!!! After a major surgery his blood pressure and heart rate was a little high because he was in a lot of pain. His heart rate and blood pressure are normally low. 110/60 average BP and 70 average HR. This idiot put him on 3 BP meds and a heart medicine to slow down his heart rate and sent him home with all of that. Needless to say about a w week later he ended up back in the hospital very close to death! This man should have his license pulled immediately!

My son has been coming to Dr salazar since he was born, usually my experience at this office is not too bad, the Dr is knowledgeable and I'm usually satisfied with my son's check ups, but as for the the staff they definitely need re training towards customer service and empathy, they over book their patients causing extreme a wait times, the front desk receptionist was very unprofessional when questioned about the wait times. It's unfortunate I may just be having to change my pediatrician due to the staff.
