Jack Sanford's Online Review Report Card

If it were not for Dr. Sandford, I do not believe in my heart that I would be a mother and grandmother today. I was told by no less than 5 specialists in the field that it was highly unlikely that I would be able to conceive a child, much less carry one to term. Dr. Sanford performed microsurgery on me, and I'm so pleased to say that I was blessed with two now-grown incredible sons who are very loving and caring and quite respected in their respective fields. Thank you, Dr. Sanford, for giving me my wonderful boys and my happy life.

Giving one star because I have to give at least that but, truth be told, that is way too much for this operation. My experience with Dr. Sklar, and his entire staff, was, easily, the worst I’ve ever had - from both a medical and a customer service standpoint. Following my home sleep study, I went in for my follow up appointment and was not seen until 75 minutes after my scheduled time. His explanation was that he was seeing a lot of patients that morning but I saw him walking into the office from the window in my examining room. When asked about what I’d seen, he backtracked and tried to cover his deceit, wat which point he told me of the miracles of the CPAP machine and how it was going to change my life. Here we are 6 weeks later and his tales are still that of fantasy rather than reality as there has been no effort to move forward with his prescribed treatment. It’s not for lack of trying. I called 10 days after the appointment and was told the doctor had not “submitted my notes” to get the ball rolling on my prescription. The following week, I called twice. Once I was told there was no way that I could speak with Dr. Sklar because the staff member I was speaking with didn’t even have the opportunity to speak with him. The next time, I was rudely handled by a staff member who told me “the doctor has a lot of patients and that my case wasn’t anything special”. Upon being insulted like that, I asked to speak to an office manager and was transferred directly to what seemed to be a generic email box where I left a voicemail that was, likely, never heard. The following week, I spoke to someone who said they’d push my case through right away, that they were so sorry for my delay and that I could expect to hear from the home health care company at the beginning of the following week to get fitted for my mask. I never heard from anyone so I decided to call the home health care company whom I was assured would be in touch. Upon speaking to them, I was told that they had no record of me. Yet again, deceived by Dr. Sklar’s office. When I called to get to the bottom of it, they “apologized” as they were, literally, laughing at me. Finally, this week, I received a call from Dr. Sklar’s office. I answered in anticipation that this was finally something I wouldn’t have to worry about any longer. But wrong again – they were calling to confirm my insurance for the follow up appointment to see how the treatment was working. I immediately cancelled. For a doctor that specializes in sleep studies, it certainly seems like he’s asleep at the wheel and that’s not the type of person I want handling any facet of my health.

I was recommended to Dr.Sanford by my boss(he is her doctor), So I went to see him, and he gave me the same diagnosis that my regular obgyn gave me. He told me I couldlet my reg doctor do the procedure or he would,so I chose him and I have never regretted it. All procedures he has done on me,I have been very satisfied.He is a very good doctor.

Great Dr. Wonderful bed side manner. Prompt appointments. Love his office.

I had an appt at 9:30, sat unclothed until noon. No one came in the room. I've seen him for years but it gets worse every time I go. His office staff is a complete joke!

Jack is great. I've been seeing him for over 30 years and he always diagnosis and corrects my problems.

I've seen him for 20 yrs! Nothing but professional and wonderful!

Excellent physician. Doesn't rush through your visit. Actually listens to you and cares. Been to 3 other doctors for my insomnia problem...this is the first one that actually is helpful. Very knowldegebable,thorough, friendly caring..This type of doctor is hard to find in this day and age..highly recommend. Oh, and by the way, he is very punctual and respectful of your time. Can;t say enough good things about this doctor!

Absolutely horrible DR. He delivered my daughter and it was the absolute WORST experience of my life!!! DO NOT GO TO HIM!!!
