How did anyone believe this man had an ounce of compassion? NO
Does not listen, scheduled for surgery, to be there 8am, found out all patients that day had to be there at 8am, by 1pm ready ??Told cant do procedure and nothing can be done even though at initial appt said it could be done. Also arm bleeding, Dr got blood on his hands and wiped it on my blanket, I was mortified. Find another Dr
After 3 failed surguries and one procedure going very bad I would not recommend Dr. Gardner for any surgery. I learned from the Dr. That has to fix my fistula they often see his patients for the same reason... to repair his problems.
Dr. Gardner performed a de-clot and angioplasty in his office procedure room on my 92 year old mother's fistula with out making sure the twilight medicine had taken effect or that she was adequately numbed up. She was strapped down and in excruciating pain while he performed the procedure. She yelled, begged, screamed and cried and all the nurse would tell her to do is take deep breaths. He never came out and spoke to me (her daughter and care giver), explained himself or apologized for the experience. He promised her before hand that she would know nothing and not be in any pain. It could not have been further from the truth. We actually asked if it could be done at the hospital where she would be put to sleep and he told us it was not necessary they did this in the office all the time. Now her fistula has an aneurysm and it has never been accessed for dialysis. We believe it is due to the stress of the clamps he made too tight and then has to angioplasty open to keep her from getting blood clots again. Unfortunately, now we are looking at another surgery with a different Dr. for this very serious issue. I would never refer him to anyone for fistula surgery because of this absolute neglect and cruelty.
Dr Gardner and his assistant is wonderful

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
