List of James Shull's Reviews
Dr. Shull, Judy, and Diane are like family to me & that is because they treat me like part of their family! He has helped me in so many aspects of my life, that I would never go anywhere else. They are kind, professional, empathetic, and want only what is best for you! And believe me, if they think you have gone against rules , you better be ready! I am a grown woman and he made me cry! It was a misunderstanding with hospital, but it wasn't pleasant! However, that showed me he cared! When I met them, I had been in an accident which left me with 2 broken wrists(one crushed); a broken humurus; a broken knee; broken heel; and 13 little bones in foot broken! People looked at me oddly to say the least! I had been on Percocet, but it wasn't helping. Dr. SHULL saved me from being an opioid addict; Suboxone is a miracle drug if you do what your doctor says! I love them and thank them for getting me out of pain physically and mentally sometimes! Bless you all!🌷❇️🌷 P.s if anyone from Iuka or Corinth sees this and could help me with a ride each month, I would appreciate it!I have a tumor on my optic nerve and can't see well enough to drive! Will help with gas!🙏🙏
Super awesome
Dr.shull an his staff got me through the worst health problems an now I feel healthier at 50 then I did in my late thirties . There very compassionate people an really cares …. I think off them as close friends an family .. I really owe a lot to them for my health an a whole new out look on life …
I thought they where caring people till now. I would explain but I'll keep it short.
Very nice an comfortable
Dr. Shull and his staff are amazing. They have treated me very well. Dr. Shull is also the most understanding man I've met in his field. None of the staff are judgemental and will go the extra mile to help all of their patients. I highly recommend Dr. Shull
James and Judy Shull are very sympathetic to their patients needs compared to some other doctors I seen before I found DR.Shull. They genuinely try to help and care about the patients. They also don’t charge a arm and leg. Highly recommend seeing DR.Shull.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shull now for many years, and not only is he and his wife, Judy Shull, are extremely thorough and walk patients through the entire process, and they do not work against you if you are a Suboxone patient and will instead listen to you. If you need to start on a high dosage they will start you out on that dosage but gradually lower you to a more manageable dosage over time that you can stabilize on if you want to remain on it for the foreseeable future. They will also work with you in order to taper off of it completely and become free of the medication altogether if that is what you want, because Dr. Shull does not operate his practice just for money but because he cares about his patients and their well being. I'm not shilling for Dr. Shull by any means because we have had our ups and downs, but everything the doctor does is for the good of the patient and he will see it through to the end. His payment system is also considerably cheap compared to the typical Suboxone doctor, which is why most of the time he has a full load of patients. If you can wait to be seen by the doctor, you would be lucky to have him as your addiction doctor. Mrs. Judy works tirelessly to process PAs for prescription insurance coverage and Mrs. Diane manages the front counter and does an excellent job managing all of the patients the doc sees. Right now they are only open two days a week, but it is very easy to get an appointment with the doctor if you need to right away if you are an existing patient, and he will probably be the best Suboxone doctor that you could possibly find in the Midsouth area. I drive 30 minutes to his office once a month for my prescriptions, and I'm usually in the office for no more than 20-25 minutes because they have their schedules and wait times down to only minutes instead of hours like other clinics. Give Dr. Shull a try if they have an opening, and you will not walk away unhappy. His first time visit is $300 and every 30 days follow-up is $150 cash only. If this sounds steep, try asking how much other providers charge for the initial assessment as well as the returning fees...he's the cheapest doctor that you can find for addiction treatment, and if you're lucky they can give you paperwork your insurance can file to help reimburse a lot of his costs.
Dr. Shull is by far one of the best Suboxone doctors in the entire Midsouth area and is probably the cheapest doctor that you can find. I've been a patient of his for years and have never been anything but happy with his service. His wait times are only minutes until seeing the doctor, and the entire staff is very welcoming and attentive to your needs. You would be lucky to be a patient of his.
I called Dr. James Shull's office at 4 AM to find out his office hours. All physicians that I know have an after hours number and answering service. A woman answered and said "hello", I said, I'm sorry I have the wrong number. She said it is 4AM. So rude. I love Dr. Shull and have been a patient for 20 years. I suppose I need to find another physician as this person was so RUDE! I wonder if he knows that he has hired a person that is not respecting his office standards. It broke my heart. #sad.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
