Dr. Gooch performed 4 by-pass on me in December 1980 at St. Francis Hosp. in Memphis when I was 38 years old. After the surgery he told me that the procedure should give me at least another 38 years. Well he was right & then some. I will be 80 in two months. I’m glad to see that he is still practicing.

Dr Gooch performed a triple bypass on me In September 2008. My wife was a healthcare professional at the time and chose him for me. The last thing that I remember before going under was the whole t am praying for me. A one to five scale doesn’t even apply in this situation. This is by far the best doctor I've had dealings with. My husband had no symptoms and drove himself to ER. Will not disclose hospital, as it was the most awful experience. Bunch of political bs with insurance. After we finally got situated, we met Dr. Gooch. Love him! Turned out my husband had lots of blockage and was lucky to have made it. He needed an endarectomy and a CABG as well. Dr. Gooch is a superb doctor with great bedside manner. It took him only 6 hours to do both. My husband came out with flying colors. This was done on December 14, 2017. Today the scars are minimal and he is doing great. We are very thankful to Dr. Gooch for everything. Wonder doctor! If you need a heart surgeon, he's your guy!

My emergency surgery was performed 9/13/2018 at Baptist Memorial by Dr. Gooch. First, being airlifted to the Baptist. I can tell you he and his team made me feel warmth through all the stressors I was experiencing. Dr. Gooch saved my life and without hesitation, yes I would refer him to family and friends.

This man has magic hands. My husband is alivevand well after lots if blockage and surviving a widow maker. In only 6 hours, Dr. Gooch performed 2 types of surgeries, an endarectomy and a CABG. He has such great bedside manner and he seemed to really care about the condition my husband was in after the surgery. I /we are so thankful to have had Dr. Gooch. If I was rich, I would buy him a Bugatti!

Dr. Gooch is the best heart surgeon my husband and I know. Dr. Gooch operated on my husband 13 years ago . He had endocarditis and he saved my husbands life. 13 years later Feb.3-4 Dr. Gooch saved my husbands life by operating and replacing 2 heart valves the Aortic and Mitral valve. His blood pressure went so low he almost died but with Dr. Gooch's training and years of experience my husband is alive and living a normal life. God blessed us with truly a Godly doctor!
