List of John C Wah Md's Reviews
I have always heard good things about Dr. Wah, so this morning I went to inquire about becoming a patient there. The women at the desk was so rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful that I changed my mind. I would not dare give my business to a place where not even the least bit of common courtesy is displayed!
Dr Wah is an excellent doctor, I live in Southaven MS and drive to his office in West Memphis, because he has taken great care of me for many years.
My mom died under Dr. Wah’s care. She was his patient for over 30 years. She trusted him and his laziness is the reason she is dead today. She was prescribed indomethacin for gout. He also told her she had multiple strains of arthritis but had no solid plan to help her. We had to have a referral to see a rheumatologist and they couldn’t even get her an emergency appointment. She didn’t live to make the appointment scheduled for rheumatology. They also gave her allopurinol and told her that her kidney functions were high. Her pain never subsided. Eventually she was weak, bedridden, and died in the ER. They sent medication in for a UTI 2 days before she died. One day because we were late for her appointment (due to her pain), his wife turned us away in a very rude fashion. They were overbooked. I wanted my mom to see a better doctor but she trusted him. We called time and time again about her pain. He could’ve consulted other doctors or something. We didn’t get a call, card, or anything when she died. One day my mom told him about her back pain and he started talking about his own back pain. He was too busy trying to protect his career to acknowledge he was lazy, careless, and didn’t do his best. I’m sure at 1 point in his life he was an amazing doctor. Today, he is not. You can be lazy when you’re retiring from sports, factories, restaurants, retail, but you cannot be lazy when you’re dealing with lives. What bothers me the most is more sick people still walk into his office and I have to pray his patients don’t end up in the same predicament as my mom. Dr Wah, please retire.
Handsome intern working for him both are knowledgeable and great camaraderie!
HE WILL BE THERE
AMAZING
He’s extremely thorough. His staff are friendly and the nurses are very caring
Dr. Wah has taken care of my family since I was a child. He cares the most about my health. I love the way he interacts with me. More than any other doctor
Dr Wah cares about the health of his patients. He and his staff are friendly and helpful. They try to work you in when you are sick...instead of making you wait a week. Dr Wah is well education and informed. He takes time with his patients and explains things instead of rushing to the next patient...leaving you questioning what just happened. He’s a gem in the middle of this small town.
The best doctor in the world, to me and my family

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
